Lupitas Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in South Carolina

I just wanted some good street tacos and I’m very disappointed, just as I was the the first time I sat and ate here. Food was cold. Atmosphere was unsettling to say the least and I almost walked out when I first sat down but I wanted to give them another try. There were workers standing around every where just watching you eat that cold, disgusting and flavorless food. I’m not one to complain on the internet nor do I leave bad reviews but I feel like I wasted my time and money here. It was so hot in there too, I started sweating just sitting there! I will never be back and I don’t recommend anyone else going either. Of course when you search the restaurant up it shows all the good reviews first but I wish I’d checked the bad ones before ordering! I’m so aggravated but all I can do is laugh while typing this. I would honestly eat at Mconalds before ever...

I just left there about an hour ago after I ordered three taco’s and a coke. I ate at their bar and one of the waitress racially discriminated against me after I asked her if she had shredded cheese for my tacos. After that she ignored me and didn’t ask me if I needed anything else but the other Mexican customers got treated like gold! I had to ask her for the bill and after I paid and tipped I told her to have a great day and she said thank you. I guess as a mixed race woman that looks white I wasn’t suppose to go in there. I would avoid this place at all cost unless you’re Mexican ....

Ok. 1st thing 1st. They do not speak English in this restaurant so brush up on your Spanish. Even the menu is in half Spanish. That being said, once you get past the language barrier the food, & service are absolutely excellent. I ordered the fish shown. As well as some soft tacos. Also included some sides that I'm not exactly sure of, but tasted terrific. If you're the adventurous type, & don't mind a change I definitely recommend this restaurant. Absolutely amazing authentic Mexican food. I'll definitely visit this place again whenever I'm fortunate enough...
