Went here for the 1st time on Wednesday February 12th 2025 with my parents for a bite of breakfast to eat. This is near our new home. We parked, and while the parking lot is a bit tight, we managed to park. We then walked in and was greeted by a smiling host. The host sat us down at a table. Note- they only have tables and chairs at this location, no booths. The tables also are close together, to probably accomodate for the tight space since it is a small place. Loved the decor there though. Our server greeted us right away with southern hospitality. For drinks, we ordered 2 coffees, and I ordered a chocolate milk. We also learned that they serve breakfast and lunch here. We were given time to look over the menu a bit. Kudos to the waitress who checked on us constantly, and made sure we were great! For breakfast, I ordered the small size of a short stack of pancakes, which was 2 pancakes. The waitress asked if i wanted plate size, but stuck with the small. My dad ordered eggs with a cinnamon raisin bagel with bacon and hash browns. My mom ordered an spinach omlet with hash browns. Food came out in a reasonable time frame. Enjoyed my pancakes, and my family enjoyed their food too. Oh, and had to use the restroom this visit. The restroom is a single stall, luckily was unoccupied when i had to use it-- and was clean. located right in the front too. Was given the check after we finished eating. In this restaurant, you pay the check up front with the host. We left our server a cash tip. We will definitely be back for breakfast, and hopefully try some lunch too!

Come with an appetite. Local, roadside diner serving a hearty breakfast/lunch of down home cooking. Small dining area with about a dozen tables overlooking an open concept kitchen. Menu offers a bounty of breakfast platters, omelettes, wraps, biscuits, Marshall bowls, pancakes/French toast and a slew of fixin’s. And if you come with your big boy appetite, there is “The Challenge.” Three pan-size cakes, three eggs and six pieces of bacon in 90-minutes and you go home with a free t-shirt or hat, you get your breakfast paid for and you get your picture on the wall. And a very full belly. Lunch is a choice of Angus burgers, subs/wraps, blue plate specials, salads and baskets. Our western omelette was two eggs nicely filled with chunks of ham and green peppers and melted cheddar. Side of crispy hash browns and two golden brown, pan-size pancakes that more than fed the two of us. Place was busy for a late morning but we were seated in a timely manner and ordered food was served shortly afterwards. Service was friendly and food definitely worth the price.

We stopped at this local favorite for breakfast on the way back home from Garden City. We pulled up to a full parking lot. Being a small restaurant, we got on the list and sat outside to enjoy a beautiful morning. The tables turn over pretty quick, so show a little patience. We waited about 20 minutes. Well worth the short wait. We were seated and had drinks in a matter of minutes. My wife is a light eater, so she went with the Kid's Plate with egg, bacon, and 2 large "silver dollar" pancakes. Biggest dollars that I've ever seen. I had the 3 Meat Omelet with cheddar and grits. Throw some Texas Pete on it and you have a very good plate. Really good coffee. Cecelia provided awesome service. I believe that they cater to military regulars based on the wall decor. There's a really cool corner display honoring POW and MIA servicemen. See the pic.

Hostesses are pitiful. Don't seem to understand that you populate the wait list from top to bottom of the page. And then, get this, you call the next in line from, that's right, top to bottom again. We have frequented often, but this morning about 1030-11ish we waited and watched while two other parties of 3 then another of 2 were seated ahead of us. And the 15min est we sit turned in not 30+. Then as we were leaving heard another customer tell their spouse they had been skipped over too. I shared it wasn't the first time today. These folks attempt, some more poorly than others, to act like they're just down home good people. When in actuality they really only can muster genuine friendly customer service if they've probably known you ten year+. But of course, they're happy to take anybody's money. Food was and is generally good. But fries were over cooked. Mayo was a literal spot on the buns. Not to mention not enough good taste to use Dukes. Couldn't get waitress's attention so hailed another one table over. Rather than ask what we needed, she calls out 'who was your server?!'. Meanwhile food getting cold, ours never comes. Finally a waiter came and asked what we needed, fetched packets, and actually had professionalism enough to apologize. Our waitress did check later, only once, because of course it's close to tip time. She didn't know that ship had already sailed. Oh and flies, flies, flies. Might as well have been picnicking. Saw one customer during our long wait at the beginning stomping something crawling. Then check out slow even though not behind anyone. The apparent boss focused on the complaint mentioned above about another being skipped in line, calling out staff correction and complaining about staff on same, and calling directions regarding seating of apparent friends or at least maybe someone she's known for maybe ten years+. To recap, wait lists are made & read from top to bottom in America. And when you've chosen to serve customers try harder to make them all feel like you're friendly. Otherwise your public business may live and die on the ever shrinking number of...

So it’s Saturday, September 30, 2023 Tried to call Nannie Annies, to put in a order for breakfast after not being answered the first time, the second time they answered then said they can’t take orders over the phone right now call back later were busy and short help so I drove over there went to the drive-through window waited for five minutes. Nobody acknowledged me. The parking lot was full but if you can’t handle an extra order, you probably shouldn’t be in business so I guess I’m gonna have to stop telling everybody come visit your establishment. Pretty ridiculous and this isn’t the first time you’ve all messed up. You don’t mess up that much but the last time I ordered pancakes got no syrup. y’all need help that bad maybe need pay your employees better so they stick around because you’re just losing money left right and I don’t think I’m ever coming back and I’m definitely not telling anybody go to your establishment anymore.and I am in public place in town 8 hours a day at a establishment that sees several people all day long They are always asking where to get good food I used to have a place to tell. Them apparently not anymore. Sorry,...
