Worse meal I had in long time My wife was been sick and still wasn’t well enough to go out to eat so we decided to get Mexican from here as we live around the corner. I called in a #9 chimichangas BAKED and 3 Supreme Tacos but ask if I could get extra Taco because I was hungry. I got there within 10 minutes of ordering it and ask them if I could get a cup of the very hot salsa which annoyed the guy very much but he went to the back to get my order it was $30.?? . I wonder why it was so high but everything is so I went quickly back home in less to 5 minutes. When my got the #9 she said this is baked and it is ice cold so I had to cook to I knew it was safe , I checked the 4 Tacos and they too were ice cold not just un warm they were as if you had taken it out of fridge overnight. While I was waiting I look at the bill and the extra Taco they charged me .75 for 4 small diced tomatoes. They also charged me $4,50 for the salsa that they give you free in the restaurant . The Tacos were Horrible and so soggy I could not pick them up , I tried eating what could but it was no use . I call the place and told I just Picked Up #24 but he seem annoyed again as if I was disturbing him so I hung up phone . I looked everywhere for my keys and could not find them cause I was going back down there . I went outside to cool off and then ate a can soup ! My brought my keys to me later that night 6 hours later and I ask her where they were and she hid them until I calm down LOL . I will not be eating there anymore! $30 down the drain ! Update 1/5 24 I started having terrible stomach pain around 8pm so I skipped super then around 11pm . I started throwing up and having a rotten party on the other end , I have to stay with 5 feet of the bathroom. It is now 12:33pm the next and I...
Read moreSometimes language can be a barrier when ordering here but they are adamant at making the customer even if someone in my party had to have their order fixed 3 times before they were happy with their food order. The seating for our late lunch inside was too crowded for the corona virus safety for my party but we were able to sit outside and enjoy the refreshing air from a storm brewing in the distance...plenty of staff to accompany both inside and outside. It's pretty cool when you have the kitchen cooking your food inside and seeing another cook outside grilling for a large group (baseball team) to ensure everyone was served in a timely manner. The only thing that confused me was when I ordered my Fajita order I was asked to choose between the Rice and Beans or the Salad plate which had the lettuce, tomato, guacamole and sour cream... All items are supposed to come with a Fajitas order that goes for anywhere I have ordered it prior... Of course I said I wanted it all... It was served with perfect Steak and Shrimp tossed with red and green peppers, onion on the Fajita platter and 3 perfect tortilla wraps not soggy and not under cooked. Paired with a Pina Colada Margarita and it sealed the deal.
Only downfall was the day we sat outside we noticed the sewage system kept burping... Not pleasant when trying to enjoy good food with good friends. My party are avid goers here because of the owner so we informed them about the foul odor and it needing checked out they were so happy we spoke up so they didn't lose...
Read moreI went to grab a take out lunch. Admittedly, they have very good food. BUT as I was leaving the parking lot I noticed a white pickup truck pulled to the far right side of the parking lot exit. The driver got out and took mail out of the restaurant's mailbox. He got back in his car and remained positioned to the right of the exit. So, I assumed he was going to make a right turn. I pulled up beside him so that I could make my left turn. He rolled his window down and angrily yelled, "What are you doing? Get behind me!" I told him not to yell at me and went on to inform him that I thought he was making a right turn. This young buck told me to shut up, rolled his window back up, and sped off. Keep in mind, this is the exit to the restaurant's parking lot so he clearly knew I was a customer. I decided to call the restaurant and report the incident. I was informed that the manager would be in after 5:00 PM. I then asked if the manager drove a white truck and answer was yes. Could it be that this rude young buck (refuse to refer to him as a man since he didn't act like one) with whom I had the exchange was the manager? Wow!
I'll find it very hard to patronize San Jose's again. They have a thriving business and probably won't miss mine but I wanted to share my experience. This young buck's behavior is unacceptable even if I were...
