Been to this place twice; sat at the bar and at a bar table most recently. People were friendly, so much so that some talked to us as we were getting our seat. The first visit was for drinks only and karaoke. It was loud and the bar and table areas were full and busy. The lady bartender was attentive and worked hard keeping drinks full and the bar clean.
Most recently, I stopped here for a late dinner. People talked to us as we got our bar table and those in the bar area were chit-chatting to other patrons too. It’s a friendly place where you can feel comfortable talking to others or not. The bartender was a younger lady this time and I would describe her as rough around the edges. She was polite to everyone but we were listening to her complain with an attitude about someone/a situation. The place was loud.
We both ordered a club sandwich with crinkle-cut fries for $9.50. The club was a slice of ham, a slice of turkey, bacon, lettuce and a dressing within 3 pieces of white toast. It tasted ok but it was more bread than anything. I would not recommend it. The fries were hot and crisp; nothing great but okay.
I would eat here again but it’s not somewhere I will make a point of going to. Nice people, ok food and maybe the club sandwich isn’t their strong suit. I’d give them another chance and choose something different from the menu. The bar area is friendly enough but nothing stood out get me...
Read moreDefinately worth a stop. We drove here (what seemed like forever) and I suggest you don't go by the outside hole in the wall kinda looks because it's very nice & modern inside. First things first - it's tucked right next to a car shop/body shop so don't do the mistake of driving past it due to parking because we did! Just turn in and go to the back on the gravel and walk back to front. Anyway, we walked in and were pleased with the decor and how clean, organized this place was. Our server was very nice and prompt with our drinks. For apps we ordered the fried mix veggie basket and I can tell you it's fried to perfection but the batter is bland . Needs a but of something to get some taste. Next we ordered wings with spicy garlic and dry rub (fried crispy) and a hamburger. My partner really enjoyed his burger with tots and wings were delicious. Do try the wing sauce for a kick. The server also said they sometimes have homemade cobblers by an employee as she makes it at home and brings it. They just didn't have it last night and I guess we'll try it next time. Clean rr but I just feel like the lighting in rr is a bit too dim and I get it - go with decor etc but it would be nice to have a brighter bulb in there. We will be back for food and excellent service . Not at all...
Read moreWho would have thought that you would find such good food in such a non-descript place. I had no idea this place was here but came on the advice of a local. I think this used to be an auto service station of some sort. I passed by the place because I didn't think it could be a restaurant/bar.
I was very impressed with the quality and flavor of the food. Everything I saw the waitress bring to the other tables looked amazing. I had the club sandwich and my wife had the blackened chicken Mac and cheese. Both were amazing. The waitress made an honest mistake on our bill and offered us an amazing desert for the inconvenience. It was a mixture of cheesecake and churro topped with vanilla ice cream (see my picture) and it was DELICIOUS. I don't even remember seeing it on the menu. You MUST try this unique desert, it...
