As a tourist, I recently dined at this restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. It was an absolute disaster from beginning to end. This place has so many problems that I’m surprised it’s still in business. The service was inexcusably bad. Our waiter, Jasmine, was inattentive and unprofessional. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, we waited an unreasonably long time to get our orders taken, and even longer for our food to arrive. We arrived at 3:03 pm and received our food at 4:04 pm and left at 4:36 pm. I observed that the staff seemed inattentive to the cleanliness of the dining area. Many tables remained in the same state for an extended period, suggesting a lack of proper management or sufficient staffing. This unkempt environment detracted from what could have been a pleasant dining experience.

One of the main issues was that many of the items listed on the menu were unavailable. The image of the board shows all of the items that they were out of. Some things that are listed in online menu from their website are not actually available in house.

If you have any dietary restrictions, I do not recommend coming here. They do not have gluten free pizza crust. Additionally, they can not accommodate substituting anything on pizzas. They will charge you extra if you want to substitute and that ranges from $3 to $5 per topping. This is not advertised and they will not accommodate you even if you have dietary restrictions such as being a vegetarian.

The dishes we ordered were overwhelmingly greasy and lacked any real flavor or appeal. The pizza, as shown in the picture, was drowned in grease. The napkins to the right of the pizza soaked up the overwhelming amount of grease. The crust was soggy and weighed down by an excessive amount of grease. The toppings, rather than adding flavor, seemed to be swimming in oil. The cheese was heavy and congealed, contributing to the overall unappetizing appearance and texture. Each bite was a greasy, oily mess that left a lingering unpleasant taste. The calzone shown in the picture was a grease-laden disappointment that felt more like a chore to eat than a treat.

To top it all off, the restrooms were in a state of disrepair and lacked basic supplies like toilet paper, further highlighting the restaurant's overall neglect.

Another deeply disturbing element to this restaurant is the blatant use of child labor. The boy working appeared to be 10 years old. The use of child labor is not only unethical but also illegal in many places. The sight of this kid working instead of enjoying summer raised serious concerns about the management’s practices and priorities.

I cannot recommend The Alpine Restaurant to anyone seeking quality food or service. With unclean conditions, horrendous service, and terrible food makes this place a prime candidate for closure. I strongly advise against dining here—save your money and go somewhere that actually cares about its customers. There are plenty of other dining options in the area that offer a far...

Honestly, this was probably the worst food experience I’ve ever had.

Half the menu, not available, but was told each item wasn’t available 10-15 minutes after changing order each time.

Fried pork chops, came out grilled and raw.

Hush puppies, came out as mozzarella sticks that were still frozen.

Chicken quesadillas came out with onions even though it was clearly written to not have them.

Mac and cheese was burnt, but edible.

Ran out of drinks mixers, forcing half of us to change our drink orders.

Was told manager was coming out, never did. Asked again on the way out the door and a really nice gentlemen came and talked. I don’t think it was necessarily his fault, nor the waitress, who was new.

However, it doesn’t change the fact that the experience was awful. Not sure I would ever try it again and I usually give a restaurant at...

I had the shrimp Alfredo, fried okra, and onion rings. The food was really, really good. The Alfredo was very good and had plenty of shrimp. Okra and onion rings were cooked perfectly and tasted great as well. My waitress was friendly and kept made sure we didn't lack food nor tea. The owner even came out and checked on us and I told him the food was done right. If u are in the area please go by and give them your business, remember iys cooked when u order it so it takes a little time to cook but we had our food pretty quickly for the variety of stuff we ordered. My wife had hand breaded real chicken strips and they were great as well. I will definitely be back. They are doing Beaufort steel on Saturday afternoons with the buffet and u can't beat that. Go see the friendly staff at the Alpine restaurant in eutawville u will...

I ordered a cheeseburger for My Husband with fries and I ordered myself some hot teriyaki wings. The hot teriyaki wings were very good. My Husband said his cheeseburger was cooked too long and was a little dry but he did enjoy it. We definitely will be going back to our local little eatery. But FYI, it’s no longer called The Alpine, It’s now called Lucky’s 😀!
