Waffle House — Restaurant in South Carolina

We called 4 times no one would answer the phone. So we walked over from Loves Truck Stop. Went in three women were working didnt and one Male customer was eating, staff did not a knowledge us. We sat down My husband said to the waitress we tried calling our order in the cook spoke up and said we cant find the phone.???? So we placed our order. Waitress brought drinks back. Then see went in the back. She retured again to give us our food. I ordered grilled chicken plate everything on it but cheese &bacon. He had rasintoast &our 3yr had a waffle. She gave them there food I had to wait on mine. When I git the food she put it on table and took off. It had cheese on it. I decided to eat it.Could not say anything to her she went back to the back again. The cook was arguing with someone on her cell phone while cooking. My husband wanted a water refill. She finally came back out he had to hold up his water glass to get her attention. I ate my hashbrowns first then I bit into my sandwich,the chicken was very chewy and the bun was soggy. Took 3 bits and I could not eat this. My husband and were ready to leave. The cook had to get the waitress from the back,she came out on her cell phone. We had to wait for her to calculate our meal. Will not be back they need to train there...

I was there on August 24,2020. When I and my friend walked in the door,there was 4 workers standing around on their phone playing music on the music box. We sat there for about 5 mintues before anyone approached us, (there was another couple there at the sametime,but they were already served). I ordered waffle,eggs, sausage, and those home potatoes, my friend ordered grits, eggs, and sausage . When my food got to me they gave me everything except the waffle. When they did brought the waffle ( halfway finished with my food), the waffle looked flat. I asked them to take this back, after about 15 minutes the brought back another flat waffle. My friend's grits was cold. We were very disappointed with the food. They did not even have a menu, they had a Q coder on the table. The waitress told us to point our cell phone on the camera to the Q coder mark, but it was that you need the decoder app. They assumed that you know what to do. I am a senior citizens and I did not have that app. They could not even give me an old fashion menu. The experience was bad. The food preparation was bad. There was no manager on duty for me to...

Walked in at midnight 7/3/2025 and the older woman working was extremely rude. It was 6 people eating inside; 1 booth of 4 people and 1 booth of 2 people which was only 2 tables. The second I walked in she rolled her eyes and said they were no longer taking orders at the moment. I asked how long would it be before they became to take more and she said she didn’t know and walked off. I asked if I could wait there until they started taking more orders and she wouldn’t acknowledge me. The younger black male with a short Afro didn’t seem like he wanted to even work. I waited for a few minutes to see if I’d be able to order since I’m a truck driver parked at the loves and only came here to get Waffle House. They would not answer the question why they aren’t taking orders, but I noticed they would continue adding more food for the table of 4 people whenever they asked for more. This was not far unacceptable and they should released of duty and find more people that actually wants to work. I will NEVER stop at this location again and will also tell people I know not to give them business there especially...
