I stopped here on my way to the San Juan's for vacation. The service was absolutely horrendous. They were extremely slow and my salad never came out even after waiting 30 min for my pizza. I went to cancel the salad and the guy at the register simply walked away. 5 minutes later someone came back asked my order number and processed the refund and rudly asked me well is there anything else you want. I've never encountered so many rude and outright uncaring and oblivious employees. Also 2/3 of the taps were out of stock. Definitely stay away from this place if you want a pleasant experience. I'll be back to South Fork in 3 weeks with 15 other people and will happily bring my business elsewhere.
I reached out to the Manager after they responded back to me and I have to give her credit for really trying to make things right after the experience of my visit. While it didn't change my experience that day I definitely appreciate their efforts to correct it going forward.
Update: After working with Angela who has been super responsive during the whole thing, I went back and the experience was completely different. The food was awesome, the staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating, especially the assistant manager (I believe Scotty was his name). I have to say I have never seen a company go above and beyond to make a situation right and they certainly deserve a lot of kudos for this. They truly do take feedback to heart. I'll...
Read moreAt the time I went, theyâve been open 11 days. Iâll give them a solid 3 stars just for bringing another restaurant to South Fork (which we really needed). Iâm hoping management takes note of some items that need improving, because there is a lot of potential here. Starting with the good: self-serve beer on tap; good variety, and local options available from Del Norte and Pagosa Springs. The first one i tried, though â a red ale from Pagosa Springs â did not work due to software malfunction. In fact, two taps were not working. Now for the not-so-good: It was not too busy on a Sunday afternoon, but I waited almost 5 minutes before someone could take my order. The bracelets for the beer are not intuitive, but once you know, they are easy to use. If your heart is in pizza, however, do yourself a favor and head 15 mins down the road to Three Barrel Brewing Co. in Del Norte. The pizza here is not as good (for what they are charging), and they donât offer strombolis or full-size calzones. But, hey, pizza is an easy thing to fix! I like the fact that the crust is thin, but they should put more toppings on, add a little flavor to the crust, and donât burn it. Seating: I think they need to improve seating options, especially for singles. There are a lot of TVâs to watch while youâre hanging out, so thatâs a good thing, but there is no bar and most tables are set up...
Read moreWith not many food options in south fork, we were delighted to find a handcrafted pizza place to eat at. Driving up we loved the outdoor seating and the small fireplace crackling away. The interior is small without feeling cramped. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. After ordering our pizza, they called after us and said they had accidently added an extra topping to an online order and asked us if we wanted it free of charge. We happily accepted the offer and headed out to feast on our newly acquired "appetizer." While no one in our family drinks, there were a ton of beers on tap if that's your thing. After receiving our pizza, it had slipped and spilled while putting it in the box. They offered to make us a whole other pizza if we wanted but there was no reason to as it was still perfectly edible if still a bit messy. The meat lovers pizza was delicious. There was a ton of meat on it and the crust was just perfect. Overall super great place to eat. The food was amazing and the staff were super accommodating. An overall clean restaurant as well. I would highly recommend this to anyone stopping...
