This place is a hidden gem of this great state of Massachusetts. Everything about it is top notch. From the atmosphere, to the people, to the service, heck, even the drive to get to this place is really pleasant.
The manager, Barbara, is such a sweet lady. She walked me to the corn fields (you can buy corn and you pick them yourself directly from the plant.) she's a really nice lady and a bit of a guide in a way. Very down to earth and good to talk with. Once again, thank you Barbara.
One of the things I enjoyed the most, besides the awesome views, and great service, is their ice cream. Pumpkin ice cream to be exact. I bought a small size for my wife and she literally said, "this is the best ice cream I've tasted in my life" goes to show, this place ain't kidding when it comes to ice cream. They make the ice cream themselves and they have over 40 flavors.
This place also has their own little "zoo" unfortunately I couldn't see the animals since I was new coming here and I was just passing by, but I was able to see a small cow and ducks!.
I'll definitely be coming here again, I fell in love with this little gem.
Oh, and this place have events. If you want to see beautiful lights for Christmas, don't think twice about coming here. The manager told me they light everything up and give you a tour all...
Read moreIf I could give this place a 0 I would! I bought my tickets @. 6:30 and the line had atleast 300+ people in it already. The line didn’t move an inch for 1 hour. They have a fast track line that you can upgrade your ticket to for $20 per ticket. That is the only line that moved. I asked 2 staff miembers why my line wasn’t moving and was told they only move the fast track line because those people upgraded and it wasn’t fair to them! The staff was rude and showed no empathy. He said you came on the busiest night of the year and said if I didn’t want to wait to either come back or pay the difference so I could get in the fast line.. I asked him if he thought I’d still be in line at 11:00 or midnight he said maybe…. My $150 was apparently not important to this business and now that they have my money they don’t care if I’m happy or not. It is ridiculous to expect people to wait in line for 5 hours in the cold. The line is now halfway into the parking lot! It’s a safety issue to have people waiting in a line where cars are pulling in and out. What was supposed to be a fun night has turned into a huge disappointment for our grandchildren. I will never come back and I will never ever recommend this...
Read moreLast night my boyfriend and I visited McCray's Farm for the haunted hayride, and I couldn't be more disappointed. I have visited McCray's before, years ago.. which is why when we realized we had a date night opportunity I insisted we go there.. all I have to say is what the heck happened? $20 a head to not get scared a single time.. quite honestly the entire thing seemed like a joke. Judging by the line that we stood in, and it being even longer when we left, it's safe to say that place makes a killing off not providing what they offer. The characters did not seem to even try to actually scare us, they hopped on, did a little walk around and hopped off. I remember I used to get so scared I would actually be out of my seat.. this time it was all I could do not to laugh at them. We watched one of them take their mask off while we were in line, and another actually made a comment about having bills to pay. I mean really? Where is the thrill in all that? Whoever runs that operation should consider sending someone they know through the hayride so they can see for themselves that what they have now is a complete scam and they should feel genuinely bad for taking peoples money the...
