the food is pretty good but the last time we were there, our party of five was seated pretty quickly and then didn’t have a single staff person check in w our table or offer us waters for over 30 minutes (and we had to go find someone) our appetizer came out weirdly fast and then we sat and waited for another half hour or so for our food. They brought the side salads out with the main dishes which i thought was weird, and our server couldn’t seem to figure out who ordered what. At this point, four out of five of the group have received our food and then we had to point out to our server that my dad was still missing his meal (he ordered the fish special). Based on the servers response and the fact that it took at least another ten minutes for his food to come out (and it was PIPING hot) it became clear that his food was just not included in our initial order and they had to make it in the fly. Again, the food was good but the amount of waiting around watching all the other tables around us (some who arrived WELL after us) receive their food and pay their checks was absolutely absurd. At no point did any manager ever come to check in or apologize and no explanation was given as to why we had to wait so long for everything.

Do yourself a favor and just go to Johnnys Tavern in Amherst or Johnnys in South Hadley. The food is fantastic and the service is...

We tried this place for take out after hearing online about their lobster rolls. They were not on the menu but upon calling the lady said they had them so we ordered two. It would’ve been nice to know the price, but I guess part of that is on me for not asking. When we went to pickup the food we were greeted and met a man at the bar who gave me the bill. They were $25 each. I’m not a cheap person or one to question things but I shared it would’ve been nice if they advertised these or showed prices. He turns around and said “I’m used to paying $30 for these on the Cape”. Ok man, we’re in Western MA, many miles from any ocean id expect your price to reflect that. Anyways, we laid the bill and left. The roll was small, bun toasted perfect, and tasted good. Nothing out of this word. The lobster looked packed but it was the classic trick of laying a few pieces on a bed of lettuce. I’d pay $15 for this tops and still be disappointed. Should’ve listened to other reviews. Went there last Sunday for a girl's luncheon, the service was fantastic I had the beef tips not so good they were tough 😔 but I will try again like I always do sometimes it's just a bad day I will keep you posted. Update 2nd time being there was worse then the first time very over priced and waitress was not honest they automatically add tip to your bill so gave a 20% tip on top of the $27.10 they already tacked on to our bill to see if the waitress would say anything she did not there was 8 of us and 3 separate bills we all tipped extra not once did she say anything she took the money and that was it, that's not the end our cocktails were so strong they were horrible so order another and asked if they can be made weaker and was told that is how they were made and that's it, someone at our table needed gluten free was told just don't get it there is no substitutes the steak tips was not steak tips they were a steak cut up and 2 of the plates were sent back because they were cold and tastes like someone sprinkled sugar on them, absolutely horrible experience WILL DEFINITELY NOT...
