BayView Bar & Grill — Restaurant in South Harbor Township

We are regular customers at bayview as we have a cabin near by. I usually don't have issues with Bayview. But Saturdays (7/8/23) service was absolutely TERRIBLE. 1.We had 3 different waitresses taking care of our table. It was complete chaos! 2.Two of my children's food was absolutely disgusting low quality box Mac n cheese neither ate it. Why even have mac n cheese on the menu if you can't make it? 3. The waitress spilled my daughters drink all over her lap While putting our food on the table she did apologize and cleaned it up offered her another pop but never brought it until we were about to leave we had to call on another waitress for it. 3. They forgot to put my fries that I ordered in so I never got those either until we were leaving they did comp those but what's the point? Also I ordered boneless wings and they were absolutely disgusting. Not hot at all. The sauce was cold which made everything else cold and they were not even covered. And they were literally chicken nuggets in sauce not the quality like they use to be! 4. My husbands spicy fries were not crispy like normal and were soggy. Big disappointment because we love those! 5. And lastly since when does beer come in small plastic cups? It usually comes in the taller glasses? It's a good way to rip people off! Also as an adult I would appreciate a regular glass with my meal not a kids plastic cup! Bayview we are so disappointed at the service we received over the weekend! We expect better because you can do better! I lived up there for 5yrs been away for two and it's gone down hill so badly probably within the last 6months! This is a nice place, I have lived in the area for about 7 years and just finally went in here about 2 weeks ago; I have been in twice since. The all you can eat cod on Fridays is very good, and reasonably priced, although it was a bit greasy and I found it difficult to eat very much because of that. The burger I had looked great, but it tasted a bit "off". My experience was with 2 different servers and the service both times was excellent, we didn't feel rushed in the slightest and were very well attended too. They have free popcorn! which is a big plus for me, every place around here seems to have ditched their popcorn machines the past couple years. Good...

If you aren't serving breakfast until January,take it off your website. This place is a disaster. The reason the place is a disaster is our hunting party has tried to stop here the last three hunting seasons to try the establishment. Last year we stopped after my daughter shot her first deer. We walked in at 10:50am there were two guys sitting at the bar drinking. The bartender looks at 6 of us and says we're not open for ten more minutes. Makes zero sense that he'd want to kick out 6 new customers vs serving 2 regulars. I'll stick to every bar or restaurant around the lake...
