Beware of 4.5 star review. Hundreds of these reviews are for the original restaurant, which had a different name, menu, and was 5 stars in my opinion. I was initially excited to dine here as I was unhappy about the closure. But soon the excitement turned into disappointment. The Groovin' Grove at first step in, smelled musty. 🤢 The ambiance was Groovin but just turned me off. I didn't like sitting on old furniture that was smelly. If it were my establishment, I would have all upholstry deep cleaned. I was still willing to give it a chance and ordered off the menu. I had the Nashville hot chicken flat bread. There was no fried chicken, warm pickles, and it wasn't hot. I could tell the chicken on both flatbreads I ordered was precooked chicken you can buy in the frozen section. It tasted like over processed foods just thrown together on a piece of card board. Then I ordered a mixed drink, it said on the menu it was made with bacardi. I hadn't had bacardi since I was 21. So I forgotten the taste, I was reminded why I always choose titos or fat boy. I couldn't even taste the flavors of the cocktail because that rubbing alcohol taste took over the whole drink. There's not much to choose from on the menu but the prices are good. It does seem like a laid back fun place to hang out, but I don't think I...
Read moreWe were looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat on a Saturday night. We were so glad we drove over from downtown and gave this place a try! First time and we will definitely be back next time we are in the area! Friendly service with a warm greeting and smiles when we came in. Prompt service and our waitress was so nice and tentative to our young son. She made sure his corndogs came out first and was the perfect temperature so he could dig right in! Our appetizers (mushrooms and cheese curds) were so good! Not overly greasy or having the too deep fried taste. We both got the special which was a smoked burger with waffle fries and it was so good! Such good flavor! The prices were good as well. The (assumed)owner stopped by and said hello and even as exiting we were greeted with nice salutations! The small mom and pop type feel truly was a great experience! We...
Read moreWe had a great time - live music, delicious food and the best Lavender Lemonade I have ever had. Even came with a sprig of Lavender in it! When arriving, it is a little intimidating as there are no windows and it's very "closed" looking. But the inside is absolutely incredible! When we arrived, there was no seating, but the owner went above and beyond and got seats from the back for us with a small table so we could stay and enjoy the music and drinks. It was packed and she didn't have to do that, but we really appreciated it. We are so excited that this is here and are looking forward to making this a regular spot for date night. Note: 21 and up only. (We have kids but appreciated the atmosphere and noise level that wouldn't be achieved if...
