Los Cocos — Restaurant in South Hill

It was me, my husband and my 5 year old son. This was the first time we ate here bc the other place we normally eat was not opened. The place was not busy, but they had one waitress. I gave it two stars not bc the food was bad (it was actually pretty good) but bc they neglected to make my sons food. It took like 10 mins for them to bring out mine and my husband's food which was super fast and we are sitting there waiting and eating and like where the heck is our son's. Finally our waitress came over (by this point we were almost finished) she asked if everything was okay and I said no my son never got his food. She asked if I still wanted them to being it out and I told her not to worry about it bc he ended up filling up on chips by this point. Then I went to pay and there was no one around...finally someone was walking around, pretend not to see me then 5 minutes later checked me out. I feel that the customer service was not good. You get 2 stars because the service was weird, but atleast the chips and salsa was great.

A few people in my family frequent this restaurant so I decided to give it a try while visiting my mom. I ordered the Texas burrito with steak and shrimp and my mom ordered the steak burrito.

It had rice, beans, cheese, sour cream, onions and green peppers. The onions and peppers were burnt and it ruined the burrito. There was a weird moment where they never came around with our check, so we got up to find the server to pay and we noticed they did come to the other tables to give the tabs but they must have forgot ours.

I took my food to go and later that night I scooped out the burnt onions and peppers and salvaged what I could. It just wasnt appetizing. Not much...

Always came in at night and never had any issues with food or service, I’m here during the day and I’m feeling like we aren’t wanted... the waitress is rude af, she didn’t even greet me walking in but everybody that has come after us gets excited welcomes... we were rushed to order and then she’s irritated because we want to know the difference between two items ???
