Antonio’s Pizza by the Slice — Restaurant in South Kingstown

I have never left a review for any place yet alone a 1 star review but I feel compelled for this place. I am someone who uses coupons frequently and always reads the small text to make sure I’m using it correctly. On the same day I ordered from here I got 46% off my grocery bill. In the mail I received a “Mix and Match get one free” deal. I ordered from the here asked for chicken wings and a pizza and mentioned the coupon to be careful and they said they would honor it when I arrived. Upon arrival after providing them the coupon, I was informed it needed to be the same item twice for the coupon to be valid. I always read the small print, and this is not what the coupon indicated. If it was it could’ve simply said “BOGO”. They offered me ten dollars off instead and I paid it after I explained that is not what I was told on the phone nor what the coupon indicates. Overall, it is a difference of 12 dollars, not a huge deal, but leaves a very bad experience. They should’ve honored what they said on the phone and what the coupon said. For a difference of 12 dollars they lost a customer who was hoping this could be the new pizza...

I hate to do this, but three out of three times this has happened. Whenever I get a single slice by itself it’s fine, but whenever my work orders full pizzas from Antonio’s and I eat some (usually bring it home seems to be pepperoni) me and my sons end up with food poisoning. I was up all night with my son puking last night, and double checked previous messages from 2024 where I said all I had was pepperoni pizza from Antonio’s at work before being severely sick. Stay away from the whole pizzas for some reason.

First time visiting, last time visiting. The bar was pleasant. I ordered pizza and calzone to go and a beer. The tiny 6-7 oz. draft beer was $9! But worse, no one was available to get me another one while waiting. Even worse, when I finally decided to ask about my pizza, the staff was sort of put out, but found the pizza sitting there.
