Edit after store response: I know what bean sprouts look and taste like and I know what a nail looks like. They don’t look the same and bean sprouts are not sharp after cooked. I was at work when I found out so I could not “come show you” as I only had 10 minutes left of my break. I also will not be calling because I’m not gonna argue with you guys like I had to do 3 years ago for a separate issue. As was said before it was sharp and it was shaped like a nail and the other two pieces were not full nails but were instead pieces of another nail. Like I said at the start of the original post I love the food here so I wouldn’t just be putting up fake info because then I would have to find a new Chinese place that has the same prices and quality of food should you be shut down. The only reply that should be said after this is that the cooks already started to wear gloves ( I’ve seen that they don’t ) or that they will start.
I really love ordering from here cause the food is always fresh and delicious. I would love to give it 5 stars except in my recent order I had found 3 pieces of someone’s nails in my pork fried rice. I wish I had seen it before I took the bite cause then I would have thrown it out. I was on the last 3 maybe 4 bites when I felt something sharp on my tongue. I took it out thinking it was a piece of the sauce packet only to discover it was someone’s nail and within the same bite 2 more pieces came out and I almost threw up. Especially with the time that we are in that’s definitely not something I wanted to experience. Sad to say but this isn’t even the first time it’s happened. I had an order from maybe a month or two ago that also had a nail in the rice but I just threw the rice away and forgot about it. I honestly hope this doesn’t happen again cause like I said I really like their food but I might just stick lo mein or the Singapore...
Read moreUpdate: Called and spoke to them this morning, they said they didn't send fresh food because they always cook fresh and all of a sudden where I live is too far from them. I've ordered frequently and never had an issue with the distance. The man I spoke to said no you live too far never call back and refused to give a refund or a replacement meal. If you enjoy ordering from them make sure its fresh before you pay. It is ridiculous that I need to go to this extent to either get my money back or a fresh meal. I will make sure to let everyone know how this establishment operates its business and treats...
Read moreI was raised in Toms River and remember a few Chinese restaurants that were good, but no longer exist. I have struggled with finding a good one for the past 2 years and I am happy to say this is it. My only issue is that the steamed dumplings are very thick and chewy and the sauce is sweet, which in my experience has been more salty than sweet. Everything else I have had has been excellent. Of particular note are the egg rolls and wonton soup, but the lo mein, General Tso's chicken, roast pork with mushrooms, and other dishes I have tried were very good. I will be...
