Sheldon's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Southampton

Our first time to Sheldon's Ice Cream and it did not disappoint! Being vegan can be hard finding sweet treats for my family, so when we were on Happy Cow (vegan food finder) I saw Sheldon's had Non Dairy Ice Cream with a bunch of different flavors not just 2 or 3. I got the mint chocolate chip and it was divine, it was minty and creamy and I can't wait to go back for more! Hubby got Cherry Bear Chocolate Chip and he loved it. My daughter (5) just waking up from a nap (long car ride) squealed with delight that they had Chocolate marshmallow and after tasting it she said it was amazing!! Love this place!!! Incredible spot when you’re in the neighborhood for the perfect spot of ice cream. They handle summer crowds with mastery and have a beautiful back porch off of an old train station building to sit and take a breather. Bring your puppy! Good ice cream. A little expensive, but most ice cream is in my opinion. The cool thing is the history of the place. Interesting pictures on the walls, a working model railroad inside the building. Out back there is an abandoned New Haven railroad bridge and tracks. Across the street is an historical marker of a lock on the Hampden Hampshire canal.
