I called in a to go order Saturday night, my first ever purchase at this location. Upon pick up I paid using my uia debit card, signed bill, placed a circle with line through it on tip line, stating no tip, wrote in amount of order on total line. Received my order and left. All 3 meals had mistakes, but we decided to not make a fuss. 7:30 am I logged in to my uia debit card account and found out the waitress added 10.04 to my bill, attempting to steal from me. I went to speak to the manager, was told he wouldn't be in until later, I then spoke to the police, filed a report. Eventually caught the manager who repeatedly denied the extra 10.04 charge, despite my showing the pending charge. He wouldn't apologize, he made no effort while speaking with me, to appease a victimized customer, instead he was belligerent and rude, attempting to tell me the extra 10.04 was clearly my "card" placing a hold on the charge. Since I was getting no where, I left. Not 2 hours later, the charge changed to actual cost and posted to account. This owner failed to make in person, personal amends for his staff trying to steal, failed to apologize, failed to admit there was wrong doing, and decided to be shady and change the charge in hiding. He missed the opportunity to make the situation right. He has lost us as customers. How many others have or will in future, suffer the same b.s. He is not worthy of owning his own business. If he is even the real owner. May have lied about...

Ordered the 20oz ribeye, came stone cold raw with just enough of a sear on outside to make it look somewhat edible but it had that unhealthy grey color to it, once I cut it open it was ice cold and a deep red color. It was also completely devoid of any seasoning, not a speck of flavor to it. I forgot to take a picture before I threw the steak on the grill just to make it edible. I got it with a baked potato which had tin foil deep inside of it, the potato came in tin foil but was already cut in half from the restaurant. Side of rice was really good though I will say.

Barring this experience, most of my recent experiences of this place have been less than stellar. I keep trying new things from the menu hoping I will find something that tastes good but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Last time I tried the half pound burger, when I got it home it may as well have been a McDonalds kids meal hamburger with how small and non-filling it was.

If you want to eat from this restaurant I would strongly suggest making the trip to the Allen Park location instead. We've tried coming to this one since it is closer but it has never met the standard. I am left consistently disappointed in spending my money at...

My husband and I tried this location in lieu of Romulus. I remember growing up, I was told the sandwiches were huge. I finally tried it a few years ago at Romulus, and the portions were tiny, and the reubens were dried out on thin bread with 1000 Island. This WAS NOT the case here! The french onion soup was great, using croutons instead of a hunk of bread and was not overly salty. The portion of fries was huge. When the reuben came out, it was unexpected. We ordered our own reubens, thinking it would be like the last time and a philly steak to try. We both could barely finish half a reuben and tried a sliver of the philly steak. The kraut was not super strong, corned beef hot and moist, while stacked high. The chili for our cheese fries was on the side and tasted like a great coney chili. I asked for provolone for the philly, and the meat was moist, hot, and seasoned well. Our waitress was attentive and alone, taking care of five other tables as well as a patron at the bar. Unlike BJs in Livonia, this place gives you great prices, and the...

I like this Wheat & Rye. I actually went to this loacation for the first time a couple of weeks ago. It's seems much better than the one in Allen Park. I ordered chicken wings and french fries. Both were pretty good. I would like to come back at some point to get some of their other food, even though much of their menu is similar to Allen Park location. Generally speaking, it's a pretty well-rounded bar. The prices are good, the service is attentive and it's good a good atmosphere. Overall, I would definitely come back to this place.

Had lunch here with my mom. The food portions were enormous. I could eat 4 days on that sandwich. We enjoyed our food. Typical bar atmosphere that I wasn't expecting. Service was pretty slow but it was a Friday afternoon. "Cherry coke" here is just regular coke with grenade so consider that when ordering. Fried zucchini is a MUST! Didn't take pics of my food but we had a good time.
