I don't normally go around slamming places of business but when they do things and say things the representatives that is that is utterly ridiculous I want people to know. Now this is what happened my boyfriend ordered two steak salads I pick them up and got home I ate the top one when he got ready for his he got it sat down beside me open the container and absolutely not one piece of steak on his salad so I called them on his behalf and spoke with a young woman and she informed me that she made both of those salads and she knows that there was steak on both of them well I gave my boyfriend my last strip of steak that they had put on my salad and I said yes he does have steak on it because I gave him some of mine and if you are going to insist upon telling me that you put steak on both of those salads that I am regretfully have to inform you that I am going to speak to the owner. That was just a few hours ago so maybe whoever reviews the reviews that people post if they reach out to me we can resolve this otherwise I don't think I'm going to waste my time or money. Well I did reach out to management that very day and she informed me that there was evidence in the kitchen of the restaurant rather that they gave me steak on both my salads. So I told her that unless her staff took photographs of my salads with steak on them then they actually had no proof that there was steak on both of the salads. So being that I've been called a liar without actually being called a liar in that with that word I will not patronize This Bar thank you for letting me rant and give my honest opinion...
Read moreWe're visiting from out of state and looked up a spot to eat on the way back to our hotel. This place has fantastic reviews, so we stopped in. Quaint atmosphere, great indoor/outdoor seating options. However, it took 25 minutes for the waitress to get to us in a less than busy time of evening. My husband actually went to the bar to get menus so we'd be ready with our order when someone arrived. There were only 3 tables inside with people, plus the bar, and a few tables outside with customers. We ordered our food and it took another 35 minutes to get it to us. With absolutely no drink refills in between. We never even laid eyes on the waitress in that time. We were literally getting up to leave when she finally rounded the corner with our food. I asked if they were short staffed. She looked at me questioningly and said nothing. I said we had been there an hour and were they short staffed. Her already less than sunny disposition changed to just pure disgust for us. She snapped at me that they were and she walked away. She brought us refills and said nothing to us. Then she never returned. We got our own boxes for the leftovers, then when I went to the bar to get and pay our bill, I figured out why. She was hanging with the people at the bar, laughing it up with them. She looked at me, ignored me, turned back to who she was talking to, who then said to her to take care of me. I paid and left. The only saving grace was the food was...
Read moreI usually enjoy my experiences with crossroads, however this past one was terrible. I was looking forward to having a steak salad for dinner all day long. Of course I wanted to order it from crossroads because I usually love their steak salad. I called 14 times in an hours time before anyone even answered the phone. I was finally able to place my order, and when I arrived there, there were two people messing around in the window the whole time. The one kid kept brushing up against my new car going back and forth grabbing waters for himself & laughing about it, while the kid at the window just kept laughing with him. Once I received my food, I arrived home and opened my salad, and I had 3 fries on my salad, and a tiny little pieces of steak that looked like half the normal amount. It was a very frustrating experience. It took me an hour to even be able to place my order, and then a wait for 30 minutes to pick it up, I paid full price, and all for my food to be made poorly. I am very disappointed in...
