We went on Wednesday, July 27th, 2022. We sat on the upper deck, our waiter Donnie was fabulous. The bus boy was very attentive making sure everything was clean and cleared.

I was really looking forward to dinner, we settled on the seafood trio. Here was the menu the description:

Seafood Trio Scallops / shrimp / haddock / lemon herb butter topped with cracker crumb / fingerling potatoes / green beans & tomatoes.

Both my guest and I ordered the same dish. So it was not just my dinner it was also her dinner as well.

What we were served was haddock that had smallest amount of cracker crumb at the center of the haddock it was almost not visible. The shrimp and scallops, the potatoes, and the green beans / cherry tomatoes were ice cold. The potatoes were hard.

When the waiter to first came out and asked us how our meal was we said fine, he was busy and I didn't want to bother him, that was before I tried the scallops and shrimp, and realized everything but the haddock was cold. In addition to the lack of breading on the haddock was very dry.

When we inquired about why the shrimp and scallops were not also baked with the crumbs, waiter stated those were sauteed. I let him know that both our meals we're cold, and clearly the shrimp and scallops had not been sauteed. He offered to take the food back and have it heated up and saute it. The food came back and my guest was missing a few scallops. And the shrimp in the scallops clearly were not seared still.

Our waiter was able to adjust the bill with 50% off. So it still cost me $32 for two meals that were pretty much inedible. I left there very hungry. We tried to find another restaurant nearby but we were unable to. So I had to wait 2 hours to go home and make something myself.

As I said, Donnie was a great waiter, and I made sure I took him well.

I was extremely disappointed, and will not go...

Very nice setting right on the water. Pretty flowers all around the outdoor deck. The waitress was pretty good and humorous. The house wine was ok and the Lone Pine IPA was tasty. My husband ordered the Southport fondue which was great with homemade chips and crostini. Our friends ordered the Lazy lobster dinner and the Seafood trio. They enjoyed both except for the green beans side. I ordered the Maine Shore dinner with lobster, clams, fried potatoes and clam chowder. The clam chowder came first and it was thick with clams and potatoes. The lobster was lobster and the potatoes were barely warm and greasy. I didn’t even eat them. The “main” problem with the Maine Shore dinner was the delay being delivered to the table – presumable because there was a shift change. I watched the rest of our party eating as slowly (and guiltily) as possible so there’s food got cold before I even got mine. To top it off, I had to ask for reparations which I assumed would be a comped dinner. But it wasn’t. They gave a 25% discount for the Maine Shore dinner for their failure to handle a shift change properly. Truly disappointed in how this was handled. Enough that we...

We were really happy that we found and tried Robinson's Wharf. The staff was really friendly, definitely a tight-knit team, helping each other out to always make sure the customers had what they needed. There was not much of a crowd, because this is in the off season - we had our choice of table, which we now understand is not possible at all in the summer. The menu had great options. Everything we had was made there - no frozen foods. We had the New England clam chowder, (generous amounts of clam, bacon and potato chunks, in a buttery broth). We tried the fried artichoke hearts - they were fresh-made, with a light batter and aioli dipping sauce, very tasty. For dinner, we had a lobster dinner (nice size, great cole slaw, and only the corn was subpar, but that's because it's so far off season) and a crispy caprese sandwich (nice rounds of fried and gooey mozzarella, on tasty toasted Tuscan bread) with awesome fries. Our waitress, Alyssa, took lots of her time to share information on the vibe and culture. Great laid-back place, really good food, reasonable prices. Best of all, good staff who genuinely liked...

We heard a lot about this place as you can pull your boat right up. Wife and I went for a lovely date night tender cruise around the bay and landed here for our dinner. Easy parking on the docks but could see it being busier than it was. We did our standard 6 oysters and a bowl of lobster bisque out of the gates - this formula has been treating us well thus far. Would’ve liked more chunks of lobster in the bisque but flavor was there. For entrees we did the lazy lobster because we are midwesterners who don’t have the skill nor ambition to crack a whole lobster. It was delicious and full of flavor with no work required to get to the soul of the lobster species. Only thing that sort of soured the meal was the lack of attentive service. We had extremely long wait times in between ordering, which would be understandable if it was slammed but it was just normal crowd at that time. I even couldn’t continue my crusade for coleslaw testing because our waitress forgot it TWICE. I’ll save the slaw for another day. All in all, a fun spot that has a great gift shop.

We've eaten here twice. First visit -- really great! Arrived at 5:30 and got two kids meals and two adults meals. Second visit -- arrived at 7 and ordered right away and waited 1.5 hours for what you see in this photo. The lobster tanks kept our kids patient for as long as possible but I don't understand why our server only checked in on us once in 1.5 hours and only with us waving him down. Ended with us asking to getting it to go after over an hour of waiting. At that point we should have just left when I had the feeling they hadn't even started our order -- a cup of chowder, a kids' Mac and cheese and fries, and one lazy lobster meal. I love supporting small businesses but this was a really unfortunate end to our night. It would've been nice if even a manager or the server checked in to tell us they were running so behind, but nothing was offered until we were an hour in and inquired and the answer was "everyone came all at once."

Summer 2022 update from 5 stars to 3 stars Biggest disappointment of our trip this year. Couldnt wait to get back here. Last summer we visited almost every day we were in town. This trip once was too much. Everyone of our group of 5 had a disappointing meal. Service was not friendly food was not hot or particularly good. Just the opposite of last years experience. I tried to encourage the group to give it another chance but they wanted no part of it. ........................................... Summer 2021 - A beautiful location and excellent restaurant. If weather permits opt for the outside seating. Just lovely. All the dishes we have tried so far have been excellent. All the servers have been great but Catherine is outstanding!
