This is a great little bar tucked away in God‘s country of Perry County. My wife, friends and I discovered it by accident when we were touring the mountains in our jeeps. We came off Laurel run Road and ran into a bar. It’s not very big however there is plenty of seating. Typical bar food most of it is made on the grill or a deep fryer but it was all very delicious. I think our favorite was the hot pepper cheese balls in the fried dill pickle slices. We all tried something different from traditional wings to boneless wings to salads burgers and the chicken finger basket. Nobody had any complaints. It was moderately busy however the food came quickly and the drinks were just as quick it was a great little break on our trip. I will purposely make my mountain jeep tours come across the path of this great little bar.

This is a smaller establishment. They give a lot of French fries you've been warned. I got the 1/2 lb. Maple Bourbon Bacon Burger and the Bacon Ranch Fries. The burger was delicious, and I even chopped some up onto the fries. The Bacon Ranch Fries had a lot of real bacon. The portions are large. The food was amazing. You have the best fries around the area. I'm not sure how they do it, but their fries are even good the next day in the microwave. Most people includeing mysef don't eat leftover fries. They don't taste right. But this place holds me against my never eat leftover fries rule. I'll be back. 5☆☆☆☆☆

Sunday 11am. Great little hole in the wall. Loved it. I was told all the food is made from scratch to order, so it takes a little longer. Nothing fancy, but good people and great breakfast. They also serve alcohol. Had a beer with breakfast :) Will go back again.

I have been going to this place for many years. I am not sure what is going on now but it is circling the drain fast! Yesterday we went in and there were no other diners. Great so we ordered. I asked waitress if I could split my order of chicken wings as 6 only one flavour and 6 of a second flavour. Sure no problem. So I did. I ordered celery and blue cheese as well for an additional $2.95. Person I was with ordered a hamburger and fries. (Usually excellent). It took 45 minutes and not once the the waitress ask us if we wanted another drink. When the food finally arrived the fries were over done like potato sticks and the burger was over cooked as well. When the waitress finally checked on us the person I was with said the food was lousy. She offered more fries. We did not want to wait any longer. Then our bill was $30! And that was with the fries taken off. So we had water to drink, one burger, 12 wings and one order of celery and blue cheese dressing! A burger is $5.00 the side was $3. Basically I paid $22 for some flavoured chicken nuggets. You don’t get a bill there so it’s really not possible to see how she did the math, presumably she did. I was happy to spend $30 and get out. Sadly I’ll never go there again and have heard from several friends who have stopped going there as well why they will not go there. RIP Laurel Run. Shirley and Chick would...

It’s a bar! People are going to swear! It’s not a family restaurant. If you swear before 9pm you will or can be thrown out. Tina the bartender is by far the rudest. Food is mediocre at best! We watched a family with 2 boys almost about 18 get in trouble for swearing, casual conversations at the bar- people got in trouble for swearing. If you want it to be a family establishment don’t serve booze! Not worth the trouble to visit this place go to North Mountain Inn where you can drink and have fun. Spent money on the jukebox and had to keep asking for it to be turned up so we could hear it as well! Ridiculous! Your reply didn’t address the rudeness. I am not the only one who has complained about the lack of courtesy. While we respect rules, you have a full bar and no barrier from the small amount of tables you serve. Again, rudeness by Tina and the other blonde working that night was not addressed. We have been to your establishment many times, especially during Covid as you had outdoor seating, same rudeness and dry personalities. Don’t work in the service industry if you are going to be rude. I owned my own restaurant and bar for many years, and if I had employees treating people like that, they would of been...
