I arrived there at 10:40am and I had to wait to be seated. There was a lot of people inside restaurant so it's understandable. We sat around 10:50am and waiting for order. Finally order drinks and food at 11:30am!!!!!! Waiting to order for 40min. When we about to order food there was three other table to be seated and they take order almost at the same time with us. We wait another 30 min to get our order so finally got our food at 12:05pm. I went there to eat breakfast not lunch. While I was waiting food they gave me coffee that I ordered. Just coffee without cream that I was asking, without spoon.... I had to pour sugar and stir with fork, after 20 min later they gave me cream that I was asking 2 times. I didn't get spoon until I left. More crazy thing was while we suffer, they went to other table, who seat 40 min later than us, apologize two times order being late!!!! They never told us any...... When food finally came, I was so dizzy because I didn't eat anything but coffee two times while I was waiting 1hr and 10min. I couldn't let this go so I tell waitress after we finishing eating - they took our plate while we was eating as well. They apologize and tell me, asking manager to see if they can do some with our bill. We wait for the bill and some other waitress came up to me and ask to see if we want bill? I tell her someone else taking care of us, but she went to grab the bill and came back with bill that is not taken care of. I don't want to deal with this anymore so I left there. I still give them $1.50 tip because I don't want to ask change back. I don't think I can be there again in my life........ I am still dizzy with stress that I took earlier this...
Read moreI recently came here with my boyfriend at around 8pm on a Sunday night. We decided to have a seat at the bar. We were handed menus and the waitress then left with out asking if we would like a beverage. There were minimal customers so I didn’t pay this much mind as I figured she would be back soon. We sat for over ten minutes and were contemplating leaving before the waitress Philana came back to the bar and laid her head down on the bar in front of the only other person at the bar (I later came to the conclusion that this was her boyfriend). We then shut our menus and placed our hands on them and stared over at her. After a minute she casually found a notebook and sauntered over and asked if we knew what we wanted (keep in mind she hasn’t even asked what we want to drink yet or brought water or anything). Any normal person would have left I’m sure but we stayed because we had heard good things about the West Springfield location. Any time she left, she would not come back. She spent 80 percent of her time flirting with her boyfriend at the end of the counter. The other waitress even had to come get her to go into the dining hall to care for other guests. I sat there pretty much the whole time in need of something. It was so awkward, I wasn’t sure if I should interrupt her with her boyfriend. I also felt like I shouldn’t have to. She never once asked how the food was or willingly came back to us. She gave me the strong impression that she’s probably the owners daughter and feels that she can slack off. I will say it’s the worst service I’ve ever had. I will not be coming back for a...
Read moreWe are big fans of Crepes Tea House food and I've left a review for this restaurant before at different location and that location had gotten 5 stars. I must say that the Southwick location is nice, But there were so many things that ticked me off. First of all we couldn't enjoy our meal outside because of the clouds of dust in air created by landscapers working within 20 feet from the terrace. After we went inside it took over 50 minutes to get our entire order on the table. We ordered home fries for to kids to share and specifically asked to get plates for them so they could share. Fries were brought out but no plates and when we reminded the waiter about the plates it took over 10 minutes for her to bring them (kids wanted to eat but couldn't). With my meal i asked half of bagel with vegetable cream cheese by the time I got what asked everything was cold and I was already on the edge. My husband ordered chicken shishkabob that didn't come out until we literally were all done eating and chicken was undercooked. Then when we got the check and saw that we were charged $4.60 for banana slices that were added into my kids puffy cream cheese crepe, I simply couldn't believe it. Anyway I highly doubt that I'd ever come back to this location with my family again. The whole reason we came out to that location with the family was to enjoy the view and the fresh air out on the terrace while eating brunch. This location lacks good service and in my opinion landscaping projects should be done when there isn't anyone eating out on...
