Fresh Fields Cafe & Deli — Restaurant in Southwick

When searching gluten free friendly restaurants to meet a friend near the CT/MA line, Fresh Fields Cafe and Deli popped up. I looked at the menu, as I always do before making a decision. They had great coffee & TEA options and a nice gluten free wrap option, which I haven’t found while out to eat so I was excited to give it a try. I was very surprised when I pulled up to see this Cafe & Deli was in a gas station. There is a designated section with walk up deli and plenty of tables. I ordered the GFree Veggie Betty wrap and a Chi Tea Latte, both were excellent, and the wrap was HUGE! My friend ordered the ‘lite’ BLT sub, they also have a hearty option. I travel a lot, I wish there were more family delis in travel centers!! The food was prepared to order with local fresh ingredients. I feel like the reviews below are from a business that occupied this space a 2+ years ago. They are now Fresh Fields Cafe, not between rounds, and I've never had any of the issues those customers experienced. My husband and I have been regularly going here for breakfast and lunch for approximately 12+ months. They did great through COVID, food quality and service was top notch, which we really appreciated. Any issues we ever had were fixed on the spot. Any stupid requests/alterations I had, they accommodated. I hope they continue to weather the COVID storm!

I like this place for 2 main reasons. I love their vegetable humus wraps. I get mine in a spinach wrap. A lot of places don't offer quick and easy nutritious vegetarian type options. I also like the fact that they have coffee cards and every 6th coffee is free. It is nice to get a small return for regular business. Few places still offer perks for frequent or regular business.
