I have food intolerances (edited here to name them: bean-based gums) to ingredients that often lurk in commercial brand ice creams - think Breyer's and Friendly's. I've therefore grown accustomed to reviewing ingredients whenever I visit places like Moolicious that claim to offer homemade ice cream. What I've learned over the years of doing this is that many small ice cream stands buy an ice cream base that they flavor on-site, and that those bases tend to have long ingredient lists full of sweeteners like corn syrup; emulsifiers like guar gum, locust bean gum, and carob bean gum; and other things with hard-to-pronounce names that no home kitchen ever uses. I'm sad to say that the ice cream flavor I wanted at Moolicious (graham cracker) has some of these telltale signs of using a mass produced base that's no different than what you'd find at your local grocer. I don't fault them for that, but I do take issue with their 'homemade' claim. Based on that one flavor, I suspect their ice cream is homemade in the sense that the Tollhouse cookie dough I can buy at the store allows me to make cookies at home. It's not the same as from scratch. So I give it two stars - the ambience is homey and the service friendly, but the ice cream...
Read moreI went to a dairy ice cream shop called Moolicious Farm—a family-friendly, fun-filled favorite for both young and old alike.
They offered a marvelous mix of hard and soft ice creams. The hard ice cream menu featured more than 20 mouthwatering flavors, matched by over 15 fantastic toppings. Their soft serve selection was equally fabulous, with options for chocolate, cherry, raspberry, and peanut butter dips, as well as a mesmerizing medley of red, blue, and brown swirls.
Moolicious Farm wasn’t just about the ice cream; the atmosphere made it a memorable experience. There was both indoor and outdoor seating, along with a family-focused yard for kids to frolic freely. The yard boasted a magnificent swing set, an oversized wooden truck to clamber and climb on, and friendly farm animals—goats, of course—that children could feed. The kids loved running up and down the hill, hiding around the bushes, and mingling with the animals.
For a mix of magical moments and fantastic flavors, Moolicious Farm is a must-visit destination that’ll make you and your family melt...

They have many ice cream choices here, as well as food. when I first walked up it had an amazing smell of almonds and ice cream, kind if like a almond ice cream. It took about 1-2 minutes for our order to be taken. I chose the Mudd Slide Sunday, it has a chocolate ice cream base with peanut butter, a hot chocolate sauce and peanut butter cups on the top and a whipped cream, cherry and rainbow sprinkles on top. It took about 7 minutes for it to come out, though there was a line infront of me. Once my sunday came out, it looked so good!!! It tasted amazing, the mix of the ice cream with the hot chocolate sauce and peanut butter, ooo you gotta try this...
