Not like the last few visits! Our very special anniversary dinner … I was so excited and So DISAPPOINTED! Shaved root salad ridiculous and overpriced 3 red beet shavings and 2 yellow no dressing and way over priced! Ordered 2 dishes for mains and one had to be changed after we asked for no cheese and waitress did in fact find out there WAS cheese in the risotto! We replaced with another main dish and one came out alone…. We were so disappointed but made alternate choice and would share both dishes! Waitress forgot to put in order so we shared 1 fair dish of chicken Marsala. Put our 2nd order in and again after she apologized AGAIn for multiple mistakes…. 16 minutes later we cancelled it as the specialness was taken away! Honestly not impressed at all with SERVICe/non service. We ordered a desert. Bananas Foster came out in no kidding 30 seconds….. …. So strange not a banana to be seen it was a pudding with no taste at all not a foster! No offer of coffee no offer to make us happy at all! I spoke to manager expecting something for another visit or even a discount but there was nothing to offer but a drink very very disappointing and no feeling of warmth or compassion to make things right 😔 Our anniversary Special night was...

Pulling up to this place made me.feel a bit suspicious. There were two people that were barely dressed at the roof of the place throwing stuff out (thinking there must be an apartment up there) we stayed because then we did see some people pull in, we aren't familiar with the area and we were starving! Walking in, it smelled of an old musty place but at that point we were ready to give it a shot. The waitress was the only one there waiting all the tables, she didn't provide the best service but I guess that's understandable. She gave us someone else's appetizers, got our wrong and in turn we had to wait even longer for the right order. It was jalapeño corn dip with NO spice or much flavor at all for that matter. I ordered the Montreal burger which was supposed to have montreal seasoning on it and it was extremely bland, my husband got a cheese steak at "Market price" for $24....that was fatty and bland. My daughter got chicken tenders and wanted to sub her FF for Mac n cheese and they had to charge us for 2 meals. Our bill was $85.....holy smokes!!! Learn how to season your food and chill on the prices....its not a fancy restaurant, you have no business...

Sooooo, reviewing a food establishment generally tends to be all about personal preference...right? Unless the whole experience (food, service, atmosphere, cleanliness, etc) across the board is crap. My girlfriend and I stopped in a week or so ago for the first time after years of talking about it. Lots of parking and how the place looked/decorated was cool, our waitress was very friendly as well. We didnt order apps, just because none really stood out that we wanted to try. Ordered the grilled salmon with baked potato and veggies...Cattle Rustler ribeye with mashed potatoes and veggies...we each had 2 mixed drinks and got a slice of carrot cake to go. The salmon was flakey and good, potato was bare with just butter on it and the veggies were OK. Ribeye was cooked perfectly...average flavor, average mashed potatoes and veggies were ok. The drinks were good, but the carrot cake was dry....cake itself crumbled. Will we be back, no....but I wouldn't tell anyone not...

It's been a few years since I've been here and I honestly don't remember why I waited so long between visits! If you want the best burger in Sussex County, this is it. Hands down. The french onion soup is outstanding and all their soft drinks come in quart sized Mason jars - you definitely won't leave thirsty. It's comfortable, relaxed, and definitely has a cowboy type vibe. My mom ordered eggplant rolllatini which was a great texture but maybe a little salty. It came with a salad and it was so big it could almost have been the meal itself. Our waitress, Joyce, was very friendly and quite liberal with calling me "hun" - I loved every single one she said. I could see myself becoming a regular here, especially for the value for the money.

Very nice atmosphere, wait staff is very nice. We enjoyed reading the history of the restaurant, which was located on the table. Food was good. But the wings are absolutely delicious! Event though a bit charred, Loved the crispy skin and flavor from the barbecue. Pulled pork with Swiss cheese sandwich very very good and great sweet potato fries! Chicken fried steak was very thin and part of it was so crispy I couldn’t eat it. Caesar salad great. Green sweet tea delicious! Wings FANTASTIC!
