This is real Soul Food and real Plant Based that’s really, really , really nothing like it good!!! The food is cooked fresh to order so patience is a must! Excellent food from the best Veggie Burger I have ever had!!! The service is great and everyone makes you feel at home. If you like real soul food and plant based food that tastes how it’s supposed to taste eat here. Pay attention to hours as the restaurant is open specific days and times. My wife and I went to try Stacey & Seed's Slappin Soul Food restaurant. My wife ordered oxtails, greens & beans, sweet potatoe, & cornbread. The oxtails were good but not for the price charged, and the cornbread was burnt and hard. I ordered their veggie Walnut Tacos, to only be told later that they didn't have any after I have alright purchased my food, and to later be told to purchase something else and also be given a added upcharge fee. "What!" That is crazy to me, and the waiting time was ridiculous as well. Just not a pleasant...

The food was good, I won't get the Cornish hen again cooked well just not to my liking. The macaroni and cheese was good , blackened peas with greens were awesome and the cornbread was good i didnt get cornbread with my meal , all thought i did taste it.But the star of the dinner was the lemonade & tea drink mix it was so good!
