I don’t usually write a negative review because I generally believe we’re all just out here trying to do our best. But our experience at this mazzios was enough for me to write a review. I would give zero stars if I could. We drove over 30 minutes to this mazzios for the Tuesday buffet. We missed it by a few minutes, but figured we’d just get salads and cheese dippers. We saw the Specials Menu on the counter and repeatedly referenced it and pointed at it when ordering. Madison, the girl taking our order was not very pleasant to start. We saw that the Tuesday special was a medium pizza with two toppings and cheese dippers for $15.99. We ordered the special, two salads, and a soda and water. Again, repeatedly pointing to the specials menu and talking about the cheese dippers. Madison, repeated our order back to us including everything. We paid and it was $36.10. We got our salads and drinks and waited for the pizza and dippers. The AC was broken and it was extremely hot in there. We were the only customers in the restaurant and we should’ve taken that as a sign. So the atmosphere was already pretty miserable. Then our pizza was brought out by the cook, but no dippers. We waited a while to see if the dippers were just taking longer. Madison had earbuds in and was cleaning tables and never asked us if we needed anything or checked on us. Finally, we went to the counter to ask about the dippers and the cook had Madison come back. We said we wanted the dippers because we ordered the special and she said “I don’t know how to give you the dippers, you already paid for the pizza” we explained that we did order the special which comes with the dippers. She said “well I don’t know how to give you the special when you ordered the pizza. You already paid the pizza. I don’t know how to give you the dippers when you didn’t order that.” We explained again that we ordered the special and that’s why we were looking and referencing the Specials Menu. She refused any help and lacked all customer service and pleasantness. She never apologized for the miscommunication or tried to resolve the situation. She never even asked if we wanted to make a separate order. The energy was “I don’t want to help these people.” We said we now just wanted a box and were leaving. Again, she didn’t seem bothered or like she wanted to help us once seeing we were frustrated and never apologized for the service, atmosphere, or lack of help. I understand she was probably hot from working in there with no AC, but I work in customer service and my friend works in the food service also, and we just couldn’t understand why the girl was being so rude...
Read moreThey messed up on our meal 3 times. My wife ordered bone in wings 10 of them and got 9 boneless wings that were very cold. They re-made them and didnt put any barbecue sauce on them so we had to get barbecue sauce on the side. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich with creamy italian on the side and fries. My fries were cold and i had to ask for my creamy italian after i got my food. My wife and i live in Muskogee and come to Spiro ever other month and we eat at Mazzios every time we come to Spiro where my parents live and this is the only bad experience we have ever had there! We also ordered 4 pieces of cheesy garlic toast and they brought us garlic bread with no cheese! Our names are Michael and Trisha Rethman and I hope if we ever come back there the service gets better. I even asked if there was a new owner. We should have gotten a reimbursement on our wings but that wasnt even offered! Please correct your service to customers and it wasnt even busy and the manager tonight told us they got their orders mixed up...
Read moreAt 630 PM we ordered 2 orders of wings, 2 personal pizzas, a medium pizza and a pasta bake. We were told it would be 20 minutes . At 7 PM they gave us everything but the pasta bake , when we asked about the pasta bake we were told we didn't order a pasta bake . They said it would be another 20 minutes. 30 minutes later it wasn't ready and the original part of our meal was cold. When we asked for a manager we were told there wasn't one on duty, that they left early....there is no one in charge. I demanded a phone number for management . Someone came from the kitchen and without identifying himself said he would remake the entire order. At 751 we got our complete order that had been placed at 630. I was less than thrilled after feeling like I had to fight to get dinner that I had to pay someone to prepare. I dont believe I will ever spend another dime there and I hope that anyone contemplating eating there goes somewhere else. I would not recommend this place...
