After a 2.5 hour drive I was really looking forward to trying out this bakery. My plan was to get something for 7 of my surrounding neighbors to surprise them. However when I got there at around 9a-ish I walked out with an amazing delicious hot mocha and a bagel because they had nothing I wanted. Apparently their items rotate between their other bakeries which seems ridiculous to me. Seems no matter which bakery we choose to go to ALL items should be available at each bakery everyday if they're open. She told me I could drive to another bakery of theirs and see if they have the items I wanted. Not very convenient. Ended up having to go elsewhere. But the hot mocha was awesome. Bagel is a bagel not house made so can't go wrong with that. Very disappointed. I'm in this area every six months so thought I'd return and give them another chance. The friendly counter gal told me if I called in advance and placed a special order it would be there for me to pickup. But then I thought, why should I have to do that when I can go almost ANYWHERE else and they'd have what I want without the inconvenience. So I tried and it failed....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt know if this is the best Coffee shop in Spokane but itās certainly my favorite. I love the old building and neighborhood charm, plus, the people who work here are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to get to know the regulars. Their bakery is amazing and Iāll admit to having to show a lot of restraint to not buy everything in the case. My go-to is the Almond Poppy muffin but thatās just one of the great options. Seating is ample for a small shop and street parking is easy and free, which is a big asset in my book. My parents live close by so itās an easy walk here when Iām in town but I would drive across the City to come here if they lived in a different location. Give this place a try, and if you donāt like it for some unexplained reason, then itās just more coffee and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe coffee is fine. My biggest complaint is lack of wifi. This coffee shop is close to my house, so I thought it would be a nice option to get some work done on a regular basis. Not so. They have made 1/2 the effort by having xfinity hotspots. I respect places that go all out to serve their guests, and I respect locations that are intentionally tech free as a choice. The half hearted effort is not something I appreciate. If they don't have wifi, a simple sign announcing it for people to see before they order would be appreciated. I had to pay $2 more for a coffee then is normal, just to leave and find somewhere else to work. My biggest recommendation is know what you need the space for before...
