Mr Twister — Restaurant in Spring City

Today marked my last visit here, EVER. The staff was extremely rude, the food was terrible, & we payed $40 to leave hungry. While taking our order, the waitress is telling us about how she hates kids, all while my 3 year old daughter is sitting right there listening.. After waiting for 30 mins to get another drink, I finally went to where two females in the back could see me, and after awkwardly standing there for another 5 mins staring at them, I just asked if I should get my own drink?!?! One of them rolled her eyes at me & says "yeah I guess"- at no point ever offered to help me (ya know, the PAYING CUSTOMER). My husband and i stopped there for the first time to get a cool treat after a long hot day at the lake and were not disappointed! He ordered a Reese cyclone and was full of Reese chunks and the best he's ever ate. I ordered the banana split and was shocked at how huge it was! He ended up eating it with me and we still couldn't eat half. It was SO delicious! The only bad thing i would say about the place is the service. Only 2 teens working at the time and one was extremely unfriendly. I stood outside at the window for almost 5 minutes trying to geet napkins. My motorcycle riding friends and I stop here on hot summer days for ice cream, banana splits, burgers & fries, and a variety of soft drinks and food. I have never had a dessert or a meal here that wasn't great. We like to go to locally owned and operated businesses along backroads that we ride and compare them with the bigger and more well known businesses in and around the cities. Roy's Mr. Twister is a fun place to stop for a cold drink, a dessert, or a meal. Oh yeah, they have indoor dining if you want to eat in a clean and quiet dining room while you rest.
