Terrace View Restaurant — Restaurant in Spring City

Ate there for the first time today, cute little shop inside, however, the restaurant was not the best. We aren’t complainers, however, the waitress came to our table three times the entire visit. Went with my in laws and when their food didn’t come out with ours, we were told that they were separate tickets (which I’m confused because it all should have been turned in at the same time???). Waited 15 minutes (after my kids, my husband, and I ate) for one of their plates to come out, then 10 more minutes for the other one to come out. We ended up not even taking one of the plates to go because it wasn’t worth taking on boat ride and STILL WAS CHARGED FOR THE PLATE!!! Owner was not bothered by the above whatsoever. We will never be back again sadly, which we would have gone a lot since we have lakehouse right...

Six of us went to dinner this evening, and we sat out on the covered deck. The sun was setting, and the staff was kind enough to lower the blinds so we were very comfortable. Everyone was very kind and helpful, and the service was great. Best of all, the food was amazing. A few head catfish and said it was outstanding, and I had the steak salad. I haven't had steak that tender in a lot of years. Whatever you do, leave room for dessert. The selection had a stumped for a while, because it all sounded wonderful. I can't recommend this...

Looking at the reviews here, I see people have had a positive experience and there are some who have had a very bad experience. My experience was overwhelmingly NEGATIVE and I will not be returning. As the others have stated who had an unpleasant experience, the owner was rude and lacked any semblance of customer service skills. Based on the reviews…it certainly appears that you are rolling the dice as to what kind of service you’re going to get when you walk...
