Fiesta Rosita — Restaurant in Spring Grove

I am shocked by the great reviews. Had the best Mexican food in Monticello, MN days ago and honestly this was the worst I have had. The Pollo Loco was extremely thinly sliced rubbery leathery chicken in salty cheese sauce.with nary a veggie in site. Nowhere on the plate was lettuce, tomatoes, Pico, onions, sour cream, anything. Just refried beans and what tastes liked boxed rice. Salsa was watery and flavorless. Really unpleasant. Place is cute and service was fine. Food was not good. Husband got the burrito. Not sure why you cant toss some black beans in there instead of refried. I don't like refried beans much, so its a sad day when that's the best...

I will say now that am a SNOB when it comes to authentic Mexican food. This restaurant is one of the best things to happen to Spring Grove in decades. After my first visit I was hungry for the next… prompt friendly service, delicious food, filling portions… I’ll say now along with Rockfilter Distillery this is one of the main reasons to visit lovely...
