Bagels and Beyond on Spring Hill Dr is my go to place for muffins and bagels (and they are making killer lunch sandwiches as well). The pistachio muffin is one of my favorite sweet treats in the county. I love their breakfast bagel as well. What is everyones favorite from there? #springhillfl #eatlocal #hernandofood

So yesterday was the first time eating here. We got a Ham Sandwich for our 6 year old daughter. (Seriously look at the picture! Its huge for a kids sandwich!) My partner got the Big John which is a $16 dollar sandwich but definitely worth it according to my partner - also pictured, it's large and filling. I got the Jersey Boy Wrap (without the red peppers). It was really good and packed with juicy red roast beef and swiss cheese. The horseradish mayo has a little kick, but goes so well with everything. Ya know how most wraps have the large empty end where it's just wrap? This did not have that, it has contents all the way through. We both got the red skin potato salad. My partner thought it was too vinegary, but I thought it was absolutely amazing and wish they gave more and I'm not usually even a red skin potato fan. My partner also got a coffee which they said was good; what's awesome is they have pumpkin spice (and peppermint!) year round!! So yeah the prices are cafe-prices, a little on the highish side but definitely worth it with how everything is fresh and well made. The Staff is also very kind and answers all questions you may have. Definitely recommend!!

Here’s a glowing review based on your experience: A Hidden Gem Worth Every Bite! While on vacation from Michigan, we stumbled upon Bagels and Beyond, and it quickly became the highlight of our mornings! The muffins here are absolutely out of this world – you can tell they’re homemade with love and care. They were so good that we couldn’t resist coming back three days in a row! The bagels and lox? Perfection. The freshness and flavors were beyond amazing – a true treat for the taste buds. Everything about this place felt warm and welcoming, from the friendly staff to the cozy atmosphere. If you’re in the area, don’t miss this spot! It’s a must-visit for anyone who loves delicious, homemade breakfast treats. We can’t wait to come back next time we’re in town!

I went here for the first time today based on a friend’s recommendation. Apparently, it used to be very good. So I’ll summarize the experience I had as best as I can. There were 3 of us that ordered custom bagel orders. 1 bagel had the wrong cheese, all 3 were requested as toasted & none of them were toasted, 2 were supposed to come with over easy eggs and both were cooked completely through, the last was supposed to come with scrambled eggs and it was a flat rubbery, folded egg. All 3 bagels were sadly flavorless, no seasoning to compliment the meat or eggs. This is coming from a person who by no means is picky. I’ll eat just about anything and be relatively happy with it, but this was just sad.

We waited 40 mins (no joke) for 3 bagels that were not worth the wait at all. Truthfully, I think it comes down to lack of staffing as they were slammed on a Sunday without enough to staff to keep up with the orders. I think whoever runs this spot should be more mindful about properly staffing a popular place especially on a day where breakfast is popular. The pricing wasn’t too bad, but you definitely should be able to expect a better food experience for it.

It seems the staff might be overworked as well, because walking in those we interacted with seemed like they didn’t want to be there. No one was smiling or happy to greet you. They looked burnt out, tired and would rather be some place else. Take care of your employees, make sure there is enough staff to handle the rush and see how much your business will improve. I’ll give it a few months before I return, and hopefully by then it will be better...

The bagel was very good and the ingredients too. The problem started when ordering a hot chocolate. The bagels came out in a good turnaround. There was about 3 to 4 people in line and We waited for the hot chocolate and nothing we sat down and in within 3-4 minutes the bagels arrived but no hot chocolate . So other people came by order and got their hot drinks and i was half way into the bagel and decided to go ask. I had my receipt and she didnt acknowledge me, So i did the line again and asked about my hot chocolate, around 10 minutes had passed from the time of ordering according to the receipt. Then she responded i have to take care of the line first. I said ok and went and sat down after already finished my bagel. The line kept steady for about 3-4 people ratio and I notice people would order their hot drinks and wait and received it after ordering. So i noticed 13 minutes had passed from by and 3 other people that ordered after me received their drinks. So i requested a refund , she started to do the drink and said I'm doing right now. At this point i do not know why she ignore my drink order after 2 attempts, either negligence, lack of training or simply other more bias reasons. But for sure this will be the last time going here. I was told i would be receiving the refund.

Also parking at the front two spots is for curbside. Maybe they only care to cater to “to go” orders ....
