Slim's Neighborhood Bar & Grille — Restaurant in Spring Valley Township

We took our family here for breakfast, we sat in a booth and we sat there for 17 minutes, finally my spouse got up and walked to the counter to tell them we’ve been sitting here waiting while they were all standing there on there phones having a good ole time. Only after this did the server finally come over. Once she come over she had the worst attitude ever, probably because we interrupted her from watching the video she was watching. We ordered our food, everything was fine - shortly after we order our food she comes back to tell us they only have “1 biscuit left”, and they weren’t making anymore. So had to use toast instead of the biscuit - which just wasn’t the same… but they sure know how to charge the same amount. Portions were way smaller than any previous time we’ve went there. Came in for breakfast and was seated at 10:50. Breakfast is served until 11:30 on Sunday. We had 3 people in our party. We each placed an order and about 20 mins later 2 meals came out. The 3rd came out about 5 mins later but was not what was ordered. The server came back 3 times to say it was coming. At an hour of being there, we asked again when it would be out. I stated to the server that normally in a restaurant, if they had messed up an order, you would bump that order up to first in line to be RE-made. At that point the other 2 in my party were done eating and I had finished my toast and drink they brought me. So needless to say, I did not receive my breakfast in a place I had never been but my friends...

It was a very cute bar and grille. There were two sides to the restaurant. One side was the bar area and the the other side was the dining area. The food was very good, and the service ok but the cleanliness was poor. The table that we sat at was sticky! The paper placemats literally stuck to the table. I was sitting next to a glass block window and there were quite a few fruit flies hovering around on the window. I either had to kill them or shoo them away. Not good! If they clean up the place a bit and get rid of the fruit flies this would be a much...
