Walking into Jack's Roadside Bar-B-Que, you're immediately greeted by the warm and inviting ambiance that promises a culinary adventure. But the true highlight of my visit was the Jerk Chicken Pita, a dish that stands out not only for its flavor but for the sheer mastery with which it's prepared. The Jerk Chicken Pita is nothing short of a masterpiece. The chicken is marinated to perfection, boasting a spicy, smoky flavor that's the hallmark of authentic jerk seasoning. What's remarkable is the balance of flavors - the heat from the spices is perfectly countered by the cool, refreshing tzatziki sauce, making each bite an exhilarating experience. The chicken itself is tender and juicy, enveloped in a soft, warm pita that does a wonderful job of soaking up all the delicious juices without falling apart.Accompanying the dish are a side of crispy, golden fries that are seasoned to perfection, adding a delightful crunch to the meal. The portion size is generous, ensuring you leave satisfied, yet somehow wishing for just one more bite. What sets Jack's apart isn't just the quality of the food but the passion and care that go into every dish. The Jerk Chicken Pita isn't just a meal; it's a testament to the dedication of the chefs who bring a taste of the Caribbean to your plate with authenticity and flair.I cannot recommend Jack's Roadside Bar-B-Que enough. Whether you're a long-time fan of Caribbean cuisine or looking to try something new, the Jerk Chicken Pita is a must-try. It's not just a meal; it's an experience that you'll want to come back for...
Read moreBy far the worst restaurant experience I’ve had in my life. I was told they were out of pulled pork and burnt ends at 7pm on a Friday. So I got brisket and jerk chicken along with Mac n cheese and pit beans. The food took 45 minutes, the portions were abysmal, and the food was cold. It looked like I was given the scraps of what was left of the brisket and chicken. If I knew they were running low on every meat, I would’ve left straight away. The food was also all unseasoned and lacking any flavor at all. I’ve never seen such sad looking Mac n cheese, I can make better Mac at home. I’m not sure if the cooks have ever tasted the food they make. To top it all off, the bbq sauces came in a dingy angry orchard six pack and were unlabeled (one looked like Italian dressing??) and were very watery. I can’t remember the last time I sent back food, but this was the time to do it. The server did not seem surprised when I asked for her to take the food away, and like this is a common experience. The server told me the manager did not want to take my food off my bill, although I took 3 small bites. When asked if I wanted anything else, I was told all that was left was jerk chicken so I decided to get nothing. I left there hungry and...

Let’s talk about the food—the macaroni and cheese was absolutely out of this world. Creamy, cheesy, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with love. It was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. The jerk chicken was another standout—tender, juicy, and packed with bold, authentic flavor. You can tell the team in the kitchen knows what they’re doing.
Their cocktail and drink selection is top-notch. There were creative, well-balanced options to choose from, and everything we tried was delicious. Whether you’re into craft cocktails or something more classic, there’s something for everyone.
And then there’s the vibe—laid-back but lively, with a great mix of people, good music, and a comfortable setting that makes you want to stay awhile. It felt like the perfect blend of local charm and quality service.
If you haven’t been to Jack’s yet, go! You won’t be disappointed. We’re already planning our next visit. A total 5-star experience from...
