I grew up on this place since I was 10. This place always was a 5 star location till about 3 or 4 years ago. It's been slowly dropping since then.
I will give it 2 stars because its convenient but that's it. The taste is poor anymore and the service is sad. Probably due to the fact that kids run it and have no ability to talk to people face to face without a phone.
Last year I said it was the last time I was ever coming but decided to go there a week ago for my kid's. When I pulled up the store has no lights on on the billboard or the ordering board. Google said that it was open for another 45 mins but it was dark. I took my chance and drove up to the window that had a plastic open sign. I asked if they were open and they were. I was then told that the light on the order board isn't working. I asked for a menu and was told they have to look for one.
Ice cream was terrible like last year and all three of us threw it away with more then half leftover. I hate to say it that DQ has now passed this location in quality.
I guess now going to this location is more for convenience or just a family tradition that unfortunately will have to end. It's sad when family values die. Not sure if I can give it another...

Stopped in around 830pm on 4/18 and encountered on of the most unprofessional and rudest people I have dealt with in years. She was running the front window and told me "to call ahead next time I want to place a large order" We had 4 people in our party...."4"!! I ordered nacho/cheese/jalapeno peppers. There were 6 small peppers on my nachos and when I asked for more she said "that's $.80" Since I paid my order with my CC card, I handed it to her to pay for the "extra" peppers. She then says "I'm not ringing up $.80 on a card". I said well I don't have any cash on me so you have no choice. She then went a got a small container with peppers and slid it across the window seal and then took a business card and tossed it on the window seal and said "like I said before, call ahead next time". We spent $28 dollars there and that's how they treat customers????? Well, there are WAY too many ice cream parlors within a few miles to put up with that kind of service. Read moreWe just went to the Goodie Shop for some ice cream. We literally pulled into the lot at 7:57 pm. There was also another vehicle that pulled in just in front of us at the same time. We seen an employee/manager starting to pull the chains over to lock down the parking lot. By this time it was maybe 8:03. She went to the car in front of us and told them that the car in front of them was their last car. They had taped a sign to their back window stating that was the last car, which you couldn’t see if you are a few cars back. The lady then came to our car and said that the white car was the last one for the night. We didn’t, but what if I would have had kids in my car and they were told no they couldn’t have any ice cream because they didn’t want to wait on any more cars? What they need to do is lock all the areas but one and on the last one, someone stand there to let the customers that are in line out. That way no one else can come in after 8 pm. Also it does say on your website that you are open till 9 pm not 8. You really need to rethink how you close up your lot when you still have...
