Zero stars, would not recommend it. My inner Gordon Ramsey is demanding a blood sacrifice.

To be fair, my gut was telling me as soon as we walked in that this place is trying suspiciously hard to promote itself as a Mexican restaurant (or at least what rural Vermonters think one looks like). But our waiter wouldn't shut up about how the owner just got back from Mexico, so we figured we'd give that part of the menu a shot.

Right out the gate, my wife ordered the tamales only to be told they didn't have any because they run out fast (hmm... maybe don't put them in three places on the menu if you can't keep them available). There was something else she asked for instead that they didn't have, I forget what. She ended up ordering the clam strips instead, while I ordered a burrito.

One would think that after ordering the second round of drinks, a solid hour after we sat down, the wait staff would have checked the kitchen for our order. Instead, we had to flag down someone to ask, after seeing two tables and several to-go orders get served first. When we finally got our food (1.5 hours after sitting down), both orders were stone cold! I would have sent it all back if we were not already in a rush to eat due to the delay.

And to make matters worse, they didn't even get my order right at all. Per the menu, the $19 "habanero steak" burrito I ordered was supposed to come with beans, red rice, and guac on the side. It was served with only about a serving spoon's worth of the blandest rice I've ever had. I had to ask for the beans (they at least were okay), which our waiter played off as "it's the least I can do". I didn't remember about the guac until I was about halfway through eating, so I let that go. The "burrito" itself had some non-descript slice of melted cheese on top (I'm fairly sure they served me their enchilada) and NONE of the ingredients except for the steak matched the menu description, most notably not even a hint of habanero; the literal flavor that made me willing to pay double what this meal should have cost. The only flavor it had at all was the Verde salsa, and that was...

We are from out of state, we have been in Sprigfield before but we didn't get to try this place before until last night. We had a hard time finding the place because they turned off all the outdoor lights and sign lights! The review site said they are open until 10 pm and when we got there it was 8:30 and the manager said they were closing at 9:30. We ordered and got our food fairly fast. I had a small tuna grinder with parmasian cheese (toasted) and it was delicious, I had already had a bowl of clam chowder and it was quite good. But that was the end of the good. My BFF ordered a Greek salad which was good but her eggplant parmasian was nasty. It was getting late so she just sent the entre' back and she ate half of my delicious grinder. When we were paying and getting ready to leave the manager came up and said that she had tasted the entre' (wierd) and said it tasted fine and that she makes good eggplant parmasian. Well she may but this one wasn't good, it tasted old and had a funky odor. Manager was very confrontatial about it. All while this was going on, my daughter, also in town from out of state told me they had ordered food from there to be delivered to our hotel and it took 3 hours to get their food. My daughter and her 2 kids were starved and quite upset about the delay! Not a good...

Horrible service and order is wrong! Girl who takes orders doesn't listen and asks order more than once and yet we still received the wrong topping!!! Like HOW?! Not only that, our pizza is cold and not quality pizza!! It tastes lousy! Salad wasn't ready when we arrived to pick it up! Salad should be the first thing ready! Second time having an issue with this place recently. Then we called to make a complaint that we weren't happy with our order and the managner on the other end, whom we couldnt understand, did not take care of the issue and proceeded to yell.... did not offer any solution and hung up the phone!! Isn't it your job as the manager to fix the issues that your employees cause???? And to please your paying customers?!! I truly don't see how this place keeps a steady running business. Between the awfully long wait time to the bad service and unfriendliness of the manager I will not be returning and I will make sure to share this BAD experience with others in this area. If I pay for food I expect it to taste good and be the correct order! And if it isn't, the least the manager could do is offer to make it right! Or refund us our money perhaps? She didn't do any of that. Yourrrr mistakes aren't my issue! Keep running your place this poorly, you will have many...

Beans and rice are so good. Full from potato skins, so definitely getting a box to go for the chimichanga. Kids say this is the best pizza they have had in the area, I'll have to try some later. The Bacon cheeseburger my son had was "Good!!" The decor is a bit cluttered, and a little all over the place. Love the painted sunflowers though, and the direction it's going, just feeling that less would be more. Service was decent. We will be back again.

Amazing food, fun decorations, good ambience, and a very lovely staff. Honestly, the best and most authentic mexican food I've had since coming to the US. The meat could be cut with the spoon, the seasoning was perfect, and the home-made salsas are on-point! They even have Veracruz-style tamales, which is a testament to the authenticity of the cooking. Their best mexican dishes are off-the-menu so make sure to ask!

The atmosphere makes you do a head turn because it's all Mexican dolls, murals etc. I love being able to speak Spanish.🌟 there are very few places you can do that here in Vermont. I had the veggie quesadilla it was excellent. Lots on the menu. Italian food and Mexican. I think I may have even seen some Greek food but I'm not sure.
