Poppy's Diner — Restaurant in Springfield

I absolutely love the food. The owner Steve is really nice & very sweet and will strike up a conversation with anyone while still being focused on taking orders when he at a big event. He is usually Set up on Home Road at Dollar General if he doesn’t have an event scheduled already. Be on the lookout for his wonderful yet delicious food truck. He is always open to ideas as well if you have something he should try on his menu be sure to let him know & he’ll try his best to see if it is healthy enough for his menu. Original review: So, the food is nothing special, the prices are terribly high for everything. Can't figure out why people eat here. The burgers are half salted, half bland. The owner doesn't like the review on Facebook, he will block you, after he harasses you. He is inappropriate here, and all social media and in person at the food truck. The Poppys food truck was at my work today. I'm glad for that because I have never tried it and it was delicious. I had Mac Daddy sandwich and got a side of macaroni from my daughter. It was $15 total. Everything we had was extremely good and very fresh, served with a smile, and my co-workers also enjoyed food off the truck. If this truck is near you, I recommend that you try it.
