Had my hopes up for this place, almost did not stay cause it took so long to get seated. Jokingly mentioned the Christmas decorations still being up, the lady behind the counter said the lady who put them up did not have time to come take them down. Sorry to say this, but not only was she standing there looking at the phone - on two other occasions that night the manager was sitting in the lobby and other waitresses standing there. Someone had time on their hands in my opinion to take some decorations down. Food was ok salad - ehh, probably from a bag bean soup did not touch it got the all you can eat shrimp - fried shrimp, had better at Dorothys down the road grilled shrimp these were very tasty and about the only redeeming item that night. The onion rings were a brown glob that fell apart if you prodded them to much. I just stacked my shrimp tails on them. Maybe it was an off night as this was my first visit ever there. They were a little busy I guess, even though the tables were every other due to COVID separation. If it had been a full night with patrons at every table I would still be hesitant to make excuses for them. Offering a plus, we had a wonderful young lady that kept our drinks full and grilled...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have to edit a previous 5 star review. New ownership is nothing remotely close to the wonderful place this once was. Itās one thing to get the order wrong. Itās entirely another to argue with the customer and still charge full price for a meal we didnāt even touch. If the wait staff canāt tell what is on the menu, it should not cost me $70 for their mistake. After over 5 years of date night here, you have seen the last of my money. I prefer to order, eat and pay for the same thing. If Iām going to get whatever you decide to bring me then why bother asking what I want? And my glass stayed empty almost the whole waste of a visit!! Such a shame to see it go from what it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wish I would have taken pictures...but I wasn't thinking about that. I love there shrimp scampi, chicken fried steak (not country fried), there fries are awesome or you can get a loaded baked potato. The menu isn't large. But it will get the job done.
The only thing, ONLY THING, I don't like is the bean soup! Peppery!
The workers are awesome and you fell great when you are sitting and eating. Also it's kid friendly.
Also it's a large free salad bar, as many times as you would like to eat it.
They are only opened Thursday - Saturday 5pm- I think 9pm.
If you are ever in Serepta check it out it the BEST restaurant...
