Pine Brook Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Springvale Township

We gave them another chance. We did not have a good experience a year ago, but the most recent one was better. The bar was busy. The bartenders were more busy doing pull tabs instead of getting drinks for the customers at the bar. It took over 10 minutes to get drinks and that was after the owner had to get the bartender for us. Once we sat down at a table our waitress, Kallie, was on her game. She asked about drinks immediately, food was brought quickly and correctly, dirty dishes were picked up, and she was pleasant and then found time to have a conversation with us. She is the opposite of what we had before. I have kept the review for you to view below. Only thing I would add is that they need a place specifically for pull tabs like at a booth so the bartenders could concentrate on getting drinks for the people in the restaurant and bar.

We went there a week ago. The food was good, but the waitress was horrible. It took her over 10 minutes to come and get our drink order after we were sat down. Then when we got our meal, it was cool not even warm. It took over 30 minutes for us to get our lunch; broasted chicken & a cheeseburger. We watched other tables get their food, but we never saw our waitress. Then we had to wait 15 more minutes with dirty dishes on our table to even order dessert. We had to ask her twice because she did not know what they had for desserts. She then came back over 10 minutes later, and it took over 20 minutes to get our two desserts. I have never been to a restaurant and been ignored! Went out for our anniversary, to Pinebrook as it has been very good in the past. Hostess was not sure where to seat us, but finally gave us the window booth with menus. My husband and I sat there for over 20 minutes, and still no one came to take our order. There were 2 empty booths in our section, but as soon as one of them filled, they received service immediately. 2 wait staff for our section, yet still no service. I caught the eye of the Hostess and signaled her we still had not been addressed. She approached a tall, dark haired guy and sent him in our direction. He came over and appeared to be bothered by it all, and took our drink orders......he never returned. We sat for another 10 to 15 min. and still no service. We got up and walked out. As we were walking out to the parking lot, passing the patio area, there was the guy who took our drink orders. He was in a deep conversation with a couple seated out there. I said "excuse me" to him and he still ignored me, keeping his back to us. The lady seated there got his attention for me and he turned to look at me, again as though he was bothered. I told him he could just cancel our drink orders and he just smirked as we walked away. Very rude way to have been treated. Drove all the way out there for nothing! NEVER AGAIN!

WOW! What the hell is happening...

My previous reviews have been good, but tonight was not good at all, unfortunately. Many things were off tonight, most importantly being service... It took 20 minutes just to receive a drink...

Edit with more details: We had a reservation at 5:30 for my mother’s birthday. We were seated and attended to right away. Our server didn’t bring our drinks for 20+ minutes (they sat up at the bar, getting watered down 🥴). I had to ask for a water 3 times. Our food finally came out after an hour and the food runner dropped two entrees (no big deal, it happens). So those two people at our table had to wait another 15 minutes for their food. An order was wrong, but at that point you might as well just eat it. Mine was cold but I’m not one to send stuff back and plus I was starving, so I ate it 😂 Being a server, I don’t typically complain about this kind of stuff but it was such a bad experience..disappointing. Especially seeing tables around you getting way better service and getting their drinks/food before you even though they were sat after you. I could go on but this is a long enough review already. If this had been my first time going here, I probably wouldn’t go back. But next time I go, I’ll just be sure I don’t get the same server lol okay...
