I waited quite a while to write this review. And it is two parts.
The first part is I explained to my server that I have celiac disease and tried to navigate the menu in this local restaurant to find something that I could safely eat. In the end I will take responsibility and a did take responsibility for not correctly ordering. So I paid for food that I could not eat and the restaurant was happy to sell it to me.
And then settled for a very mediocre or even below average taco salad much like you would expect at a high school cafeteria.
If that was the end of my experience I wouldn't even write this review sadly it's what I expect with the disease that I have.
However, I also unfortunately left my stylus from my phone at this restaurant. I called them as soon as I got home and they confirmed that they had it. The person I spoke with dated that she would mail it out to me the next day. And I offered and even insisted to pay for the postage.
I live far away and this was just simply a stop after a long work day and travel day to hopefully get a little bit of food.
A week went by no stylus. I I just happen to be passing through again the following week which is unusual. I spoke to the staff who got the lady on the phone who claims she mailed the stylus.
She said it went out in the mail. I asked her what I owed her. She said nothing.
3 weeks later no stylus. No it's not the restaurants fault about the stylus. And it's not their fault that I have a disease that limits what I can eat and makes it difficult for me to order.
But I can't in good conscience write a good review for mediocre food, poor service, and the lack of follow through.
I got a great lengths to patronize independent and small businesses. Unfortunately this is not a business that I would patronize again.
