I had to smile a little at the "burgers taste funny comment. I noticed 15 years ago that when I moved to Kansas all the meat seemed to " taste funny" then I remembered-" oh yeah, Farm raised beef and pork/poultry do taste a bit different than Walmart beef. I think it has quite a bit to do with how the meat is fed. 😁 It reminds me of the fresh ground beef my grandmother used to hand grind and make sandwiches out of. The difference is probably due to not tasting fresh ground beef either ever or for years. Take it easy cowboy. Don't overdo it. Concentrate more on the sides the first few visits until your system becomes acclimated to actual food.
