Cowpen Bar and Grill — Restaurant in St. Joseph

What an awesome little bar. My husband and I met a couple friends here, which was our first time inside. We’ve been here a few times, it’s our stopping point when we go to the flea market on our motorcycle. It hasn’t been open when we went just because it was early in the day but we talked about going all the time . So glad we went. The owners are so sweet and very friendly. Tuesdays are for making new friends and playing cornhole. I describe Cowpen as a local country dive bar. You always have fun and are treated like family. The adult drinks are always cold and prompt service. The food is pretty awesome. I dont usually review bar food but I love their lemon pepper wings and cow pie loaded (pizza). They have shuffleboard and a couple of pool tables too. Smoking allowed inside. So you'll leave with the good ole Smokey bar smell 😂. Nostalgic for sure. Casual attire.
