Today I came to Ticklers for the first time since it's been renamed for Mother's Day. I was really excited. The views are awesome! However, I was very displeased with the food. The food looked very good when it was served. I ordered the side salad and rockfish entree. I found a large brown paper towel in my salad and the rockfish was overcooked. The sous chef came out with his apologies but I was speechless and couldn't voicemy experience. It was very upsetting because I took a couple of bites before noticing. They removed the salad off the bill as they should but nothing else was done. My grandfather ordered a chicken cesar salad, the croutons were stale a d the chicken was cold. You could tell it was a salad kept in the fridge over night, sadly. My husband and daughter had the cheeseburgers which were good. My grandmother had the rockfish, she enjoyed it. My waiter wasnt very attentive at all, our table piled up with dishes before another waiter removed them. I wanted dessert but after my experience here, I just wanted to leave. Needless to say, I don't think I'll be visiting here again unless it's for the burgers and...

During our stay at Knapps Narrows a large group of us made a reservation for a Wednesday night dinner. Note: we came by boat and they didn't have any really good docking for a dinghy; not well kept and no ladders. They really should offer a shuttle as there's people who are unable to walk or bike. However, they've definitely done a nice job of fixing up the old Harrison's. The deck and view were lovely. The gazpacho, crabs, corn, and bread were good. The crabs were a decent price and there were only a few that were light. Others in our party enjoyed the steak and frites as well as the cream of crab. Some said it had too much sherry in it while others asked for more to add; cream of crab is a personal type of soup. The cocktails were okay however, you're paying $14 for a small plastic glass. They wouldn't split the check and added 22% gratuity. They actually would've made more had they split them up. It definitely irritated some in our group. Overall a good experience with some room for...

Pretty overpriced for what you are getting. The view is great, and the food is mediocre. My wife and I ordered the Cream of Crab soup, Bacon Cheddar Hushpuppies, and the Oyster Po'boy with Side Salad.

The soup had pretty good flavor, and it had plenty of what was definitely real crab. I know because there were so many shell chunks in the soup, I had to test each bite with my tongue first. As for the hushpuppies, they were pretty good but I was a little surprised about the large chunks of corn and the dryness of the batter (they were very crumbly). It's not necessarily a bad thing but something to be aware of when ordering. As for the Po'boy, it had pretty good flavor and I enjoyed it probably most.

My main issue with this place is the price for what you are getting. One reason I think may be because of how many staff there are working. There was literally one or two people per table working, plus whoever is in the kitchen. Overall the atmosphere is nice but pretty...

One thing about seafood restaurants is that I always believe the food to be underseasoned. @ticklerscrabshack had me blown away! 🦀 This place was a seafood lovers’ dream, we enjoyed every bit of it. Started off with: Local caprese tomato salad 🍅 Wylder Wings a jerk rub with pineapple habanero sauce (I loved these! 🍗) Maryland Crab Cake 🦀 Grilled Swordfish 🐟 Oysters 🦪 1/2 pound of shrimp 🍤 Fried Chicken Dinner 🍗 Cornbread (perfect amount of salt on top) 🍞 #maryland #ticklerscrabshack #tilghmanisland #seafood #phillyfoodies

We had such a horrible experience at ticklers. The pricing is outrageous for average food. The service was horrible because we waited for over an hour for food and they have different kitchens so if you order an appetizer, there’s no guarantee that you actually get it before your other meals and the soft drinks that you get for the kids are four dollars each with no free refills and 12 ounces with mostly ice. This place is such a rip off. I would never come back. Also be careful going there with your boat. They say it’s 4 to 6 feet at low tide but I docked at the furthest slip away mid tide and it was less than 3 feet so I was hitting ground.
