Kolossos Restaurant and Pizza — Restaurant in Stafford

Owner called me a liar basically when I called stating my pick up sandwich order was wrong, and that I simply wanted some customer service. I was treated horrifically. I was a regular customer for a year before, often went there for a burger or sandwich, and never complained before to them! Ridiculous service from the owner woman. I got better service from a fast food restaurant like Taco Bell when they've messed up my orders on every single occasion. Sad.

Detail: Last year I visited Kolossos. I had been there many times for a full year before, a regular customer even though the food wasn't particularly fantastic, and the service often got my food wrong, I came back still. I never complained about the food order being wrong until my last experience with them. I ordered a sub sandwich over the phone for pick up. On my way home from work was the plan. That day was when a bad snow storm, or rain storm (one of the two) was on it's way, and it had already begun, the roads weren't safe, especially in the dark. So I picked up my food, and went right home. When I opened it and found it was wrong, I called and stated so because I was so frustrated and hungry. (I was actually pregnant as well, so this upset me even more) The teenage girl stated she couldn't do anything for me unless I brought back the sandwich right then. I told her I wasn't going to go back out in the dark and the storm again that night, and asked for some sort of customer service from her. I figured I could get back the next day or something. I was home alone too, so I had no one to send out for me. She said the OWNER would be in some hours later at 8:30pm, and I could call back to talk to her about it then. I said okay, thanks.

So I called back. I'd met this lady before on a few occasions picking up my food. I always ordered pick up. She answered and I politely told her what happened, that they messed up my sandwich, but I wasn't in a condition, nor did I think it safe to come back out in the storm to return a messed up sandwich. My dinner was already ruined any way. She flat out told me that her cooks didn't report any mistakes today, and that she believes her cooks over me the customer. I was shocked that she basically CALLED ME A LIAR! Wow! I repeated her words and waited because I was already angry that she was condescending and rude to me, and I wanted to give her a chance to take that back. She said the same thing again. I was so shocked and didn't think to yell at her because it was so unbelievable. She sat there in silence for over a minute. I thought she hung up and I said "Hello?" and her answer was "I can give you 10% off your next order" with an incredible B word attitude...

So summed up the OWNER, not the teenage phone girls because they were always polite and respectful, was incredibly RUDE, and accused me of lying to her for a freaking sandwich. I was a regular customer, and never complained previously, and this is was my treatment.

Food not that great, so it was easy to never go back.

I told my family and friends to forget them, they're not worth it. None of my money will EVER go back to the OWNER of that so called restaurant business that RELIES on CUSTOMERS for their money. Again sad, completely unprovoked, and unnecessary...

I found this place by mistake and I'm glad I did! My GPS malfunctioned so I angrily turned into their parking lot to fix my phone and I noticed kolossos so I went in to grab food why not. The staff was more then friendly and was so polite to my rambling, one even gave me directions to get back onto 84 which was very kind of him. Anyways, the food is fabulous even after being in the car for an hour and the fries are very good too and the fried pickles def hit the spot. I will visit again this time on purpose and I'll bring a friend or two to dine in. My mom would love the pizza. The ingredients are fresh they still got that snap that only fresh food gives. The pizza slice holds and won't flop dropping everything on top. The toppings are baked into the cheese so they won't fall off easily. The crust is very pleasant nice crunch and soft on the inside. The fries are actually flavorful? Like they didn't use normal oil to fry them they used the good stuff whatever that may be. And the pickles definitely hit the spot the batter wasn't clumpy or falling off the pickle slice it stayed on and wasn't soggy.

Short. Excellent food. Even better staff. Def recommend. Try the fries. Gonna go on purpose...

Soooo.... the Restaurant has been completely remodeled. It is small and extremely noisy. While we were waiting for our food, I overheard a take-out customer saying his order Was wrong- rather than apologizing and making it right, that man paid for a large Pizza rather than the Medium he ordered because the cashier has no Basic customer service skills, and the customer didn't wacht to wait 30 minutes to get his order fixed. When we finally got our food after 40 minutes of waiting, half our order was wrong. My husband's Pizza Was a ordered, my pasta was not. Unfortunately, nobody came by to check on us, so I ate half of my husband's significantly overcooked Pizza. When someone finally came by the table, I told them about the error with my dinner. They took the wrong dish away, and had the kitchen remake it..... exceptvthat I was no longer hungry after eating the hubs' Pizza, and I certainly didn't want to sit around for the Extra half hour. But just taking it off my Bill didn't seem to be an option. When my dish finally came out, itvwas better than the hübsch Pizza, but still only mediocre at best. We won't be back.
