Walked in and were immediately greeted by a friendly face. I had the brisket, he had the perch and shrimp. Potato salad was his side and it was some of the best we’ve had. Perch was perfectly breaded and fried, and the brisket was tender. We will definitely be back!

I’ve stopped here a couple dozen times over the years while snowmobiling and always had an okay experience. But, I stopped in tonight to get a beer and some food at 8:30. Asked if they were making food and was told “sorry, only pizza right now” I ordered a beer and planned on moving on elsewhere to find something more than a pizza. Not 2 minutes later, some guy who was sitting at the bar goes to the cooking station and pulls chicken wings out of a fryer and eats them directly in front of me. I make eye contact with the owner, look at the chicken wings and back at the owner, he looks at me and then goes back to watching the Lions game. A simple reply originally of, “hey man, we just kind of shut it down but what were you thinking?!” And I would’ve replied “I get it, but any chance the oil is hot? I’d take a couple wings or something else deep fried” and I would’ve been happy. But to have someone eat fresh wings in front of me (again, some guy from the bar rail went and grabbed them) while being denied anything but a pizza was quite insulting. I’ll be skipping this place with my snowmobile groups from now on. I hope the Lions game was worth it because the owner just lost a...

Terrible service, we waited 15 minutes at our table before our waitress talked to us. Once we finally were served, she walked past our table multiple times while our glasses were empty, like we weren't there. We had to get her attention to get service and that offended her. She had plenty of time to talk behind the bar and to a family at another table. We ordered appetizers that took about 30 minutes to arrive. The reason why I gave a second star instead of one is the waitress had the courtesy to reccomend another restaurant to a couple that came in. The restaurant wasn't even that busy, just inefficient service and...

I was expecting a much better atmosphere, such as logging remabelia & pictures of logging. The ceiling tiles are coming down & it must have gotten wet Inside from a leaking roof. The odor of mold & mildew fills the air inside. I should have walked out but didn't because I was exhausted & hungry. The burger was decent but would not recommend this place to anyone until it gets a remodel. It could be a nice place but the owner let it run down....
