JB's Speedy Burger — Restaurant in Star City

We stopped in today for lunch and my aunt and cousin ordered a hamburger steak, then ordered a corn dog and chicken sandwich for grandbabies then ordered a grilled chicken salad...Upon getting our meals, my aunt took a bite of her hamburger steak and stopped..She just sat there, we asked what's wrong and she had asked me to taste the meat..That meat was sour, u could smell it..We called the waitress over and informed her of the plates, the hamburger meat being spoiled tasting..She gets the owner, the owner replies she had been cooking all day with no complaints..I looked at her and said I tasted the meat as well and spit it out in the napkin..My cousin said u can smell her plate, it had that spoiled meat smelled, surely u smelled it while u cooked ours..Nothing it was after 2pm when we arrived and we were the only customers..We finally told her that the food could not be eaten cause she wasn't trying to make it right..My cousin said guess I'll just eat my salad and fries but not that meat and my aunt said the same thing, she wasn't eating the meat..The owner finally tells my cousin she'll deduct just the hamburger meat and we ask could my aunt have something in place of the hamburger meat, she goes yes but once again she had no complaints on cooking that all day, really? Lady u mite had a lunch crowd a lil bit but ur place was empty..To boot the owner did not inform the waitress to deduct the one hamburger steak, she bailed out the store in which the waitress had to call her cause the bill was 78$ for 2 hamburger plates, corndog plate, chicken salad and chicken sandwich, with 2 milkshakes and small child ice cream..The restaurant was embedded with flies, we were having to wave our hands over the food to keep flies off..Idk what happened to the original owners but these new owners have no ideal of cooking nor customer service...You are to make it right not get an attitude and go u cooked that meat all day with no complaints, and ur lying about it..The grill chicken salad is suppose to have ice berg lettuce and romaine lettuce according to the menu but there was no romaine lettuce in my salad and only 5 pieces of small chicken that was bland.. Pathetic..We were billed for all plus the chicken steak that was to replace the bad hamburger meat..Bill was total down to 72$ for one hamburger meat patty removal..My aunt handed the waitress 80$ and told her keep it, apparently ya need money...We've always stopped in there to eat but since the exchange of owners or whatever, it's awful..Store wasn't cool properly and infested with flies, the commode lid in the female bathroom slides you to the wall..This experience had my aunt crying when she got in the car..She's 83 and has worked at restaurants and at norsworthy and own one in crossett Louisiana for years and has never complained about anyone's restaurant but today at JB's it was awful...Won't be back...Spoiled or beginning spoiling hamburger meat can not be cooked out..Ppl know the taste and smell and...

I feel like we were very mistreated. We came in and ordered at the register The woman there was very unkind to us. At one point she said hold on talk to a co-worker and then when she was done talking to the coworker she gave me a look like she was growing impatient with me and she said and what else I'm waiting on you. I looked at my family and then I looked at her and I said you told me to wait and she said no I didn't say thay. So the order was very time consuming to even get done. I don't know if the employee was new or the system for ordering was new but it took us probably 8 minutes 10 minutes just to order at the counter. We opted for carryout because we had our two small dogs with us and we wanted to eat outside with them somewhere rather than leave them in a car. After we ordered our food it took 40 plus minutes for the food a taco salad, grilled chicken, three burgers and chicken strips. We had ordered grill chicken and sweet potato fries but that didn't come out. They said we never ordered it when it was the first thing that we ordered and we had to order it very special because it was for my mom who is Lyme disease and can't have anything but grilled chicken. And our drinks I am not joking we're 90-95% full of ice. They won't let us get a refill and I had water. She told me I had to buy all new drinks. I told her we would not be coming back. Right now I'm outside the restaurant waiting, it's been 20 minutes waiting for them to complete and make the order for my mom to order grilled chicken and sweet potato fries. Who because she has lyme disease has health problems and is sitting out here feeling faint because we have been waiting for an hour plus for our food. And we spent well over a hundred bucks on all this. The food tasted good! The taco salad was heavy on refried beans and had half a cup of salad. Although they gave us the grilled chicken and sweet potato fries for free we still spent over $100. She was just too rude. I will...

Just left Speedy Burger, and our experience was bad… We got our drinks and my husband had to go to the counter to get refills. We ordered our food and our food was ok, but husband asked for curly fries and got regular fries and I asked for regular fries and I got a seasoned fries. Our waitress stayed on her phone playing while we needed service. She only came to use 3 times. Which was the minimum, when we asked for sweet and low she never came back with it. This is the worst service and worst food we have had from there. We loved this place but I don’t think we will be...
