I was passing through town and decided to stop here for breakfast, and I’m so glad I did. The lady who helped me was genuinely pleasant and welcoming — the kind of small-town kindness that immediately makes you feel at home. The place itself has that perfect local coffee shop vibe — cozy, relaxed, and full of charm. You can tell it’s the kind of spot where the regulars know each other’s names. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, and honestly, it was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The bacon was thick, crunchy, and cooked just right — not soggy like you get at a lot of places. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. I’ll admit, what first got me to stop was the need for a clean restroom — and theirs did not disappoint. It was spotless, which says a lot about how well they take care of the whole place. But I stayed for the food and left impressed. If you’re passing through, don’t just fill up your gas tank — stop here for a meal. You’ll be glad you did!

A welcoming and surprisingly busy place that is much bigger on the inside than I’d expect. There’s plenty of room to sit and enjoy the food and beverages this establishment has to offer. I always like to get a latte at a new place to really try the coffee - and it passed the test! It wasn’t bitter and tasted great! I definitely want to go back! We enjoyed the drinks and sandwiches we had and were happy to support a local family business!

Really enjoyed this coffee shop! Impressive roasting equipment We ordered drip coffee and breve, with a raspberry bun. Breve was lukewarm but the drip coffee and raspberry bun were both excellent. Honestly we wanted to try one of each of all of the breakfast pastries but managed to stick with sharing the one Nice place to grab a coffee drink and walk in the park across the street

Considering the size of the town and history I'm aware of It's super awesome that Star Prarie has a legitimate specialty coffee shop. I'm a fan of the one off shops not that the chains are not fine, I just prefer the uniqueness of a shop like this. Opened up last October it's making great use of a neat building previously occupied by an antique store ( last time I was in town). Unfortunately I was in town to attend a family funeral Jewelltown provided a really good Americano and a place to take a walk break from the church. I was greeted by a very knowledgeable and friendly person (pictured on the right). She asked me if I needed room in my Americano for cream or milk and I said not if you pull the shots right. She confidently assured me she would leave no room and between her skills and the espresso blend from True Stone Roaster (St. Paul) it would be unnecessary. She was spot on and the Americano was good enough that although I was staying in Neighboring New Richmond it was worth the trip into town the following day for another. I hadn't been back in town for a number of years and seeing family along with experiencing Jewelltown made for a great trip. I hope they continue to kill it and...

Absolutely love what Quinn and LeAnne have done here. It's been a long time since this location has reached it's potential, but under their ownership, we are seeing something special. We, along with our friends visit every coffee house in the area and the Roastery us right at the top of our list. Great menu, prices are fair and they know their customers. Local musicians jamming live bluegrass on the weekends adds to the experience! Keep up the...
