Dear Fire Power Coffee Management,

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding an incident that occurred at your establishment on June 21, 2025 at approximately 1:00pm , which has unfortunately left a very negative impression.

I arrived approximately 10–12 minutes early for a meeting with a coordinator from the D.A.D. (Dads Assisting Dads) program—an important community support initiative. This was my first time visiting your coffee shop, and I was hopeful it would be a good location for future meetings.

As I pulled into your parking lot and parked near a police vehicle, I remained in my car while waiting for the program coordinator to arrive. Within a few minutes, a female police officer approached and knocked on my window. She informed me that she had been asked by someone from your establishment to investigate a “suspicious vehicle” sitting in the parking lot—referring to my car.

I was taken aback. I had simply parked in your lot while waiting for a scheduled meeting at your business. At no point did I behave suspiciously or violate any rules, and the situation felt unjustified and uncomfortable. This reaction made me feel unwelcome and unfairly scrutinized, especially as a first-time customer.

Unfortunately, this experience also negatively impacted the D.A.D. program's impression of your establishment. As a result, the coordinator has informed me that they will not consider your location for future meetings.

I hope you will take this feedback seriously. While I understand the importance of maintaining safety, I believe this situation could have been handled with more consideration and professionalism. I ask that your team reflect on how such actions affect customers and community partnerships.

Great coffee!!! Great customer service! So personable and friendly! Do not sleep on this establishment. Their coffee beans are roasted on site. Great price for the quality! They have a mad variety of flavors (teas & coffee). They sell handmade mugs and other items. The photos provided are from 2 different visits. FirePower is my go to for coffee and they have delicious baked goods. I've tried the lemon chess bars and pumpkin bread, both are equally tasty! Don't forget to try out their app - Toast. My order is always ready and waiting when I'm in a rush in the mornings. Great service, amazing selection, INCREDIBLE coffee, reasonable prices, and a nice little shop to boot. I've been going here for almost a year and a half and I've never once been anything less than ecstatic with my purchases. I made it a mission when I first started to never buy the same blend twice until I've tried everything on the menu and I still haven't finished that yet. The owners and employees are always incredibly friendly and helpful and they always have a great selection of roasts for each blend. They have a nice selection of teas and treats as well, but I can't speak to those since my addiction is purely limited to coffee-based caffeine. Stop in if you ever have a chance, I promise you...
