TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE NO INTERGRITY OR RESPECT FOR YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. I had a visit scheduled with a loved one today i arrived at 10:58 and sat waiting. After a while i was informed the visit was cancelled (around 1130am) due to my loved one being in medical and unable to receive the visit. As i’m sitting there waiting for my ride to come back to get me, I see a car pull up. Hoped it was my ride but it was the food delivery. I was hoping my loved one would at least get to enjoy his favorite, chinese food, for the first time in 9 years since we couldn’t visit. Why wouldn’t he at least be the food right? That’s the hope I held on to. My ride pulled up moments after the delivery guy had finished & pulled off. When I finally heard from my husband hours later I had a chance to ask if he had received the food. Nope. Called up to the facility to ask if he could have the food i paid 45 for. Nope. Call the restaurant. Any normal person would think okay that’s not gonna be an issue. Neither one of us got the food at no fault of own. When i called up I was told its “not their problem” because “i should have called and cancelled ahead of time” which was literally not a possibility. For one my phone was in the car with my ride. For two I didn’t have any knowledge that the visit was gonna be cancelled or nor could I have known beforehand. Helll it took 30 min of me sitting in the visiting room waiting just to be told that it wasn’t happening. I’m a mother who doesn’t have much money but wanted to do something special for my husband and this restaurant has left such a sour taste in my mouth due to this situation. Read moreI do not order often, but the past two times I did it was not the best experience. The previous time it was delivered they forgot my rice on my order and I had to go and pick it up. I called them and I was told "sorry". I never made a big deal about that. Today I ordered a dinner Kung Pao with egg rolls and ragoon to my job and when I received the order it had no utensils. I had to call them again regarding my order and advised that there were no utensils as there should have been some in the bag for me to enjoy my meal to eat. They asked if anything was wrong with the food and I advised that there is no way to tell if I can't eat it.
An American speaking woman got on the phone and advised that I should have told them I wanted utensils. I told them If I am ordering dinner there is suppose to be utensils in the bag for me to enjoy my meal. She advised that they only give out utensils for lunch. If that is accurate that makes the customer experience not a good one. As a result of not having utensils in the bag I am not able to eat my food and I have to go about my 16 hour shift hungry. This experience is frustrating. Although that doesn't make any sense to only give utensils for lunch and not dinner, my experience has not been the best when it comes to ordering. Read moreI didn’t know what good Chinese food was until I dined in here. My mom and I used to come here when I was a little kid and we happened to stop by while we’re in town for the fair. The nostalgic aroma that overwhelmed my senses as we first walked in was a wonderful way to start off our lunch. This place is so heavenly and they haven’t changed their recipes since we last visited 15+ years ago (which is a very good thing). The egg drop soup has a taste that is beyond what any words can describe. Their egg rolls and wontons are equally as delightful. It was all made so well, quick, and fresh - we couldn’t have been happier with our visit! The incredible service was the icing on the cake though, our server was genuinely sweet and fantastic at his job. Honestly, we spent our time here laughing and smiling when we weren’t consuming such delicious food.
The only bad thing I have to say is that I’m bummed we don’t live closer to this restaurant and the lovely people that work here! They should be winning awards, truly - I think nationwide recognition would be appropriate haha. Definitely...
