Rock N Roll Cafe — Restaurant in Stevens Point

I used to go to this cafe 2 or more times a month. The staff is very friendly and attentive, except this tall, thin young waitress...she never comes back after takes order except to get money. The cinnamon roll french toast is excellent, my family loves the omelettes but i dont like the ingredients cooked into the eggs. The burger and fries are good. I love the soups. The coffee never seems to be hot or strong enough. We come for the music, the great service and food was better than most places. Im being as honest as possible bc knowing things to improve on will help them stay in business and i want them to stay in business a long time!!

In the last couple of years, their prices have increased dramatically and with the increased business, the food isn’t as good and is sparse. Our food was cold, not cooked as requested and when waitress asked and we told her, she said sorry and walked away. I don’t like how they give you one little packet of jam when you request it for your toast either. I like at least 4 and they should ask how many and flavor you want instead of setting 1 down as they walk away mad like their kid won’t go to college because you needed jam on your toast. Don’t...

Three friends and I spent the night in Stevens Point. When I Googled "breakfast", this was one of the places that came up. After looking at their website, I decided we had to go here. The interior is decorated like a 1950's diner. It is incredible! Kind of like stepping back thru a time portal. While busy, we were greeted and seated promptly. Coffee and menus followed. Two of us had the Eggs Benedict while the other had the omelet special of the day. While waiting, staff came around with a coffee pot and topped off the cups. The Eggs Benedict were done to perfection. Poached eggs with runny yolks with Canadian bacon on an English muffin drenched in great tasting benedict sauce. You can have a choice of fresh fruit or hash browns. I had the fruit which was fresh and sweet. The omelet had corned beef in it for St. Pat's day. The person who had it never said a word while cleaning his plate. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Your coffee cup will never go below half full. This was one of the nicest places I've ever had breakfast. Prices are reasonable. I highly recommend if you're in Stevens Point, stop here for breakfast. Their hours are 7-3 every day...

The atmosphere and service was excellent! They were even willing to take our name and number for payment when their wifi was down and no one could use the machines. (Luckily we had enough change!) The food was good but it could have a bit better, mostly when it came to the waffle. The waffle itself was good! But they put what looked to be a 1/2C or just under of pie filling on top for the fruit flavour of your choice. My husband loves sugar and eats A LOT of sweet things, and he could not finish it because it was much to sweet. He had already spread it all over the waffle. So if you do want waffles, dont spread it all around, scoop it off if you dont have a sweet tooth. The other flavours could be different, or you could just order plain.
