New Hunan — Restaurant in Stewartville

As the only Chinese food in Stewartville, it's a default choice. However, I've had my fair share of Chinese food throughout Rochester (and the rest of the nation), and New Hunan is not lacking anything. They are the expected family owned Chinese food restaurant. I've been ordering from them for over 7 years now. The Crab Rangoon is a generous portion and you can actually taste the crab flavor, which I appreciate. I greatly prefer these over cream cheese wantons. This is one of few places where I can order Pork Fried Wantons, of which I'm a fan. The General Tso's is a solid offering, but to be fair, the same high quality goes into all of their dishes (I've tried several over the years). Nothing feels rushed. And they treat you as a valued person every time. From the first times I ordered and they didn't know me at all, through now where they know me by name, I have always been appreciated. Yes, there are some very unique Chinese food restaurants out there that have a better offering, but those are few and far between, and I haven't found a better local option...

Last time I been here was 8-11 Years ago. your orange chicken and rice omg It was amazing I liked it a lot the best orange chicken I ever had. The owners and workers when I was there for the first time we're extremely nice and friendly Service is great it's been ten years and you guys are still there. Right there I got to say that's how great you guys are it's the best chinesse restraunt I ever been To in Stewartville MN. I Really wanted to get a job there if your hiring. Always my first pick for Chinese take out. The owners are always very nice and friendly. One time I called about 5 minutes before their closing time, not realizing that they have changed their hours, but they were very accommodating with my order.This is much better than the previous Chinese place that was here. They have their own unique take on dishes, but in a very good way, such as using linguini noodles instead of spaghetti noodles for the lo mein.
