The sugar shack is an awesome little self serve ice cream trailer located in a scenic country setting. You can choose between a cone or a cup and they always have chocolate, vanilla, chocolate/vanilla twist and usually two seasonal flavors to offer. Sometimes it’s maple creame, strawberry, pumpkin, mint or even sweet corn. Their ice cream is amazing and the concept of being a self service ice cream trailer is so cool! The people that own it are super nice and it’s the perfect treat after a long hike or a hot day doing chores...

Lovely self serve ice cream shack. Delicious ice cream. Perfect texture, creamy, cold, refreshing. Been here 3 times between 2023 and 2025. Great each time. They added a human to make sure people pay for the dairy. Sign of the times. It's alright as long as they stay open I will keep coming back with my kids...
